You drift, boost, race, and then suddenly transform and shoot your way through obstacles. Dramatic? Absolutely. Perfectly polished? Not quite. Still, I couldn't stop unlocking new skins or trying to beat my best run. If you dig Transformers and want couch co-op chaos, this is your new jam. Just don't expect a AAA racing sim. Full thoughts below! I think the price is pretty reasonable.

The gameplay is action-packed and keeps you fully engaged with its dynamic missions and vibrant graphics. It perfectly captures the excitement of the Transformers universe, with a great mix of characters and challenges to explore.

Even if it wasn't free I probably still would have gotten it honestly because it's worth the cost for the graphics alone!! You get to collect all the characters and race and who doesn't like racing games?? Thank you for letting me try this game out!!

Amazing graphics and tons of stuff to do!!

The game play is very smooth and the controls handle well to do tricks while racing. The game play is an interesting mix of traditional race, and transforming to ‘robot' to fight so you don't get bored.

Great Transformers game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my son's tested this game. One is 20yrs old and the other one is 6yrs old.  Clearly the 6 yr old liked the game not the 20yr old.  My 6 yr old likes how he gets to customize his transformer bot. The game is very easy to play and not hard for a 6yr old to understand and get the hang of it.  What boy don't like shooting game.

Graphics could use some work and needs to have different characters. It's very easy to get used to also needs to be a bit more challenging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials is an interesting mix of racing in vehicles and shooting, but it lacks a wow factor. Visually, the graphics aren't impressive - there's nothing that stands out about them. There's a lot of color but multiple elements of the game and characters lack details, which makes everything blend together into a puddle of colors. The audio is loud and upbeat, but it's unnecessarily loud and fails to establish anything unique in the soundtrack besides short clips of the characters talking. 

The game controls are simple - easy to understand and master at the basic level. The higher difficulties require more of a learning curve. This game would be best for younger gamers. It's also something families could play together and enjoy if they have young gamers in the family. The ESRB rating is E10+, meaning everyone 10+. My 11 year old wasn't very interested in the game - this could also be because he prefers different types of games. My 9 year old liked it but went back to another game after a couple hours. 

Overall, it's an okay game but it didn't wow me. I think the price point should be a little lower, given the intended audience for the game and the lack of visual appeal to more mature gamers. It requires a lot of work to unlock all of the characters, which is an incentive for players to keep playing but it was also a deterrent for the kids because they wanted a wider variety of characters to select initially.
