If you were to get only one autobot car that wasn't Bumblebee or Optimus… this one is very cool. Great articulation… little wing pieces that fold out… the gun can be added to the top in car mode… very fun to transform. I have it mainly for a desk fidget toy but looks great displayed as either car or bot.
Highly recommended.

A worthy autobot

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. It is a nice figure of a red Deco of Cybertron hot shot. I see this as a great substitute to hot rod since he has most of the colors of hotrod and supposed to be an homage too hot rod, he was a bit loose out of a box with most of his joints, but I was able to fix that overall a very nice deluxe and a very tall one as well, as it stands taller than a lot of deluxe and even some voyagers

Excellion

Absolutely incredible and faithful to the original Deluxe figure, with modern sensibilities allowing for an even larger range of articulation and posing. Surface detailing is especially nice and is just a really fun rendition of Sideways to play around with. If you at all like Galaxy Force/TF Cybertron or the character, you owe it to yourself to pick this up! Highly recommended!

Great update to an already solid figure!

For any Transformers fan, especially that of Cybertron, this is a must have! Even if you are not a fan of Cybertron specifically, this is an excellent baddie! His alt mode is pretty sick, and solidly built just as is his ninja-like robot mode. This guy has no shortage of bladed weaponry. He is one of my most favorite recent purchases.

Transformers Cybertron Sideways is pretty awesome!

Wow what an amazing figure! As I had (but lost) the original figure long ago this is an amazing update! Good quality figure, no quality issues on my copy at least, solid! Could use some more paint applications, but his colors stand out! Even included his cyber key which (albeit small) is a neat nod to the original.

Nostalgia again!

20 years ago I bought the original figure (I was 9 at the time) and I loved it and when I saw this that it has a slight update then I knew I had to get it! This figure was my favorite toy growing up and I still have the original and now the new and the original figure are side by side!

Great figure for nostalgic transformer fans!

This is another figure I saw that I knew I'd have to get. I have the original one from 2006 and when this was announced, I was so excited! If any of you were transformers fans in the mid 2000s as a kid or just overall back then, Get this for nostalgia! I love this figure already.

Great figure for nostalgic fans!

The only real issue with the design are the stubbed forearms. The design team could have benefitted the customer by making the effort to move the elbow further up the arm and it could have been done. Still, good updated representation of an older figure/character.

I would not recommend buying this because of the price too. Not worth it. This transformer keeps falling apart. It is a transformer, you should be able to change it from car to transformer a lot more times than I have been able to.. without parts consistently coming off. Not for $25 bucks.

Would not recommend buying

Charged more than twice the amount it was worth. I thought because of the price that this model might be an exclusive. When we received it, it looked like one of the cheaper model Transformers, and I was highly disappointed. Went to Walmart store a couple of weeks later and the same toy was there for 20 bucks. Don't buy.

Overpriced

Transformers Age of the Primes Deluxe Class Transformers: Cybertron Excellion 5.5 Inch Action Figure centered front-facing robot-mode view of the 5.5-inch Excellion toy that converts to a sports car in 17 steps, with articulated head, arms and legs and included blaster plus Cyber Planet Key accessories; often used as a shelf-display collectible.
