This Optimus transformer is great for transformation and  for the serious collector. He transforms  well and is great to play or display in either robot or truck mode. Optimus being the staple character and a n absolute MUST HAVE, this particular Optimus is a good one!

The bold colors and sword give it that awesome 90s throwback vibe, and the transformation is fun but not too tricky for the kids.  The kids spend hours playing with dad with this toy and dad finds it nostalgic to his childhood Saturday mornings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not a hit with my kids (8 and 4).  The initial excitement was there. Opening the box they just wanted to dig right in. But after trying to follow the directions for over 30 minutes on how to “transform” into a truck, we all gave up.  I've looked at it again with the same frustration. Although it appears well made, I am sure with a little force from my 8 year old trying to adjust it, pieces will pop off, as they have already. Luckily it appears they have thought of that and have made them easy to pop back on (this is good and bad).
