Takes me back to Christmas 1984! I had to Dremel down the Null Rays and missiles but he looks like my original all the same. I even went so far as to custom paint it too. Great toy, the best memories!!

This is a great reissue. It has the look and feel of the original G1 toys, with die cast torso and wheels with the rest being plastic. I never had him back in the 80s, but I wanted him. So, now I have one. Though, it's not exactly like the original. The Null Rays and missiles are way longer. The guns are OK, but I don't like the long missiles, so I have no plans to use them. Other changes include painted eyes (finally) and the added Megatron gun. I really like both of those, particularly the Megatron gun, as Starscream often wielded Megatron in the cartoon. Otherwise, it seems just like the original. The stickers went on just fine and the transformation is smooth. With a little care, it is possible to transform him without taking the wings off. Anyway, I couldn't be happier with this reissue and recommend him to any G1 fans.

This Is A Great TRANSFORMERS Vintage WALMART Exclusive Re-Issue. Comes With A New Accessory: Megatron In Gun Form For StarScream To Hold!

My Only Problem Is That All The WALMARTS Are Not Stocking These Great Toy ReIssues. They Are Extremely Hard To Find

WALMART Exclusive G1 STARSCREAM

Ok, so. If you are ANY fan of G1, or Starscream in general, you need to own this. It FEELS like the original for the most part, the missles are longer for safety reasons AND it includes a Megatron gun. You absolutely need to pick him up as soon as you see him, he will be gone when you come back. Do not spend more than $40 on him though, unless you NEED him. Which you do. So maybe its fathomable.

This Starscream remake is extremely close to the original from the 80s that I remember playing with. I placed it on the shelf in my office and have gotten a dozen complements already. Just looking at him I can almost hear his nasty grating voice! Well worth the investment from this 80s kid.

True to the Original

It arrived, my grandson opened the package and broke right away.   My 12 year old grandson was disappointed on his birthday.   If we were in different times, I would return this.

Disappointed

I rated it 3 stars because it's still in it's box so I can't properly rate it, I'm in my 4th decade of life and these reissues were my childhood, this is pure 100% nostalgia for me. Starscream looks very close to the original, being able to get them through the app is nice. Finding them in stores is better. These figures are pretty solid from the few I've handled. I'd give higher stars for this but like I said, it's still in box. I'm too old to play but still young enough to collect.

More or less?

It's advertised as G1 but it's "G1 inspired. This figure has painted eyes when the original used stickers (which is nicer but not original) the fists are modified to hold weapons. G1, fists were closed. The wings don't set flushed with the body, there's gaps. And the head always falls backwards. This was listed at $34.99 and cleranced for $9.00 Now it's back and priced at $67.66?! I never saw a retailer do that their own products before, ever. Extremely disappointed.
