This is a great piece to own for collectors of in the box and out the box Transformers. A great villain from the height of the cartoon=toy commercial era. Love the accessories.

My review for this Megatron figure is the same as my Optimus Prime review... A great figure that really pays true homage to the Generation One cartoon. As a child of the 80s myself, this figure is what I have been wanting for over thirty years.... a figure that looked like the cartoon. It doesn't matter to me personally that this figure doesn't transform, because even with the Transformers I own that do transform, I always keep them in robot mode. The robot mode has always been the coolest mode. Anyway this figure is great and I highly recommend it, but not for kids... it is more for collectors like myself (in my opinion of course).

Generation One Accurate

Great likeness of Megatron.

I enjoy this line.   It's like a Marvel Legends figure except it's of characters from one of my favorite cartoons as a kid in the 80's.  I have plenty that transform.  This works as a great display piece.

Cartoon accurate display pieces.

I honestly wasn't expecting this guy to be such a well articulated Megatron! He's very well articulated and comes with lots of cool little gadgets. He has a fair bit of articulation and is easy to model, the only thing that confuses me is how one of the things he comes with is a hand holding a purple cube, and G1 Megatron is never seen with purple energon. Overall he's very cool, I'm stoked to have him

Great Figure!

so while a transformer doesn't transform is redundant. it offers a gorgeous robot mode and what you get for the price was worth it

The quality control for "made in Vietnam" products, are not very good. I bought two of these. The stomach area is supposed to snap at various angles. But the component seems to be missing, as a result the abs are loose and megatron swings straight down, his chin ends up touching his waist.

Other than that the accuracy to the cartoon is shot on. Super well done in that aspect.

Megatron in all his G1 glory. But...

I've been waiting months for this figure but kept on being delayed, and when I opened this figure, I can see why. The plastic for this figure has many blemishes and you can see where they tore the plastic from the mold. So when first inspecting the figure I was very disappointed. For $20, I expected the quality to be better, especially with the concept art looking so clean. I do have to give it props for that, as I do like the switchouts and the articulation is really good. I was thinking about returning it, but after getting it in a pose I looked, it looks really cool from a distance. I got the Optimus Prime was well which has the same issues. But they do look good together, so Ill probably put them on a shelf, admire them from a distance, not look to close, and not buy any more.

Plastic - , Articulation and Concept

From the bendy plastic to the flimsy joints, I feel this is a $10 toy being sold for $20. They are serviceable but clearly Hasbro is just squeezing another dime out of the franchise, rather than looking to impress the fans.

Build quality not in step with this price point.

Came missing a part. Then looking at it closer, you can see finger prints and smudges in the paint as they didnt do a good job of polishing
