To the person that gave this 1-star and said "great idea" because it's a Transformer that doesn't transform, well you miss the point. It's all about getting model sheet perfect versions of the robot mode. Many collectors don't care about the vehicle mode, and I'm one of them. I've always wanted a line of TF that feature model sheet perfect robots, and this can only be done if you throw out the vehicle mode. These are quite possibly the best looking robot modes we've ever had, so to heck with you and your 1-star nonsense. These things are beautiful and you are correct, this is a great idea. Take my money now.

I wanted a smallish Classic Optimus that I could display in my office. This is perfect. I love that it's just like the 80s Optimus and comes with lots of accessories like the axe, rifle and different hands. This doesn't transform and I love it because I prefer the robot mode than the vehicle mode. Highly recommend this figure. Getting the Megatron next.

Great Collectible.

A great figure that really pays true homage to the Generation One cartoon. As a child of the 80s myself, this figure is what I have been wanting for over thirty years.... a figure that looked like the cartoon. It doesn't matter to me personally that this figure doesn't transform, because even with the Transformers I own that do transform, I always keep them in robot mode. The robot mode has always been the coolest mode. Anyway this figure is great and I highly recommend it, but not for kids... it is more for collectors like myself (in my opinion of course).

True To The Generation One Cartoon

Took awhile since thr original pre order in August (arrived mid November), BUT received and like it.  Its a bit smaller than what I expected, but glad I bought it.

This is a great representation of the G1 cartoon. No, the figure does not transform, but thats the point. The cartoon robots cant actually look the way they do, and transform into their non-robot forms.

Great G1 look

This guy, genuinely surprised me. I actually really enjoy him. Granted he doesn't transform, and to long time TF collectors, he might feel incomplete. However, the hands he comes with make him very photogenic. What keeps Optimus here from 5 stars is sadly his joints could be better and his plastic can bend easily.

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Need chest movement/ab crunching butterfly joints at the shoulders. Then would be 5 star. The rest of this figure is great just would be happier with a little more movement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The R.E.D Transformers line is great but it scales really small, so you can't really display them with other properties due to how small they are compared to Hasbro's other lines and Hasbro unfortunately never completed the line, so you can't really have a completed Transformers display with the R.E.D collection
