Overall, the figure is nice, though the quality of the plastic is kind of eh but still durable my two grips with the toy is the parts forming since you have to take the back off, which makes the back of the car which kind of ruins the tire point of a transformer transforming my second grip is the face. It is supposed to be retro, but it has the show face not the toy face but overall I'm fine with the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again, another awesome figure! Though they should've stuck to the point if the G1 theme with BB should've gotten his G1 head like Gears. He's just like the previous BB that was released prior. Thought the official VW seal makes the packaging look sweet as well with the nostalgia. I'm turning 50 in September and with these releases and packaging I feel like a kid again! Good Luck finding the BB figure, highly recommend this toy!

Finally a correct Bumblebee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this toy! Though the chest is not G1  animation accurate, this toy looks spot on, and the alt mode looks like a real VW bug. The original version of this toy was a strange hue yellow, but this version has corrected that. The transformation is also very intuitive and easy to learn (and) remember, and the quality of the plastic is high enough that you don't have to worry about snapping it in half just by looking at it, which is the case with some other Deluxe sized toys: SS109 Mirage being an example.

Best Modern G1 Bumblebee

Mint in sealed box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bumblebee is a quintessential part of the Autobots and everyone's collection.  This Bumblebee was originally release in the War for Cybertron line exclusive to Walmart some years ago.  This version is updated to a color scheme meant to represent the original colors for his first ever toy which suits him quite well.  His transformation from robot to car is fairly simple and straightforward, though you may have to fiddle with connecting the hood together.  It doesn't take much practice to get good at it.  He comes with a shield which is the back end of his car in his alternate mode.  He also comes with a giant blaster which he can comfortably hold, however there appears to be no storage for it in car mode.  The box design is amazing and reminiscent of his original toy's.  The cardback is thick, preventing unwanted creases on it and has some awesome art.

You really can't go wrong with Bumblebee and this toy is no exception.  If you see this toy in stock, don't hesitate in picking him up as he is selling out quick!  A must-have for any Transformer fan.

Never Skip Out on Bumblebee!

Probably the best Bumblebee every made. The studio series version is nice, but Im waiting for that to be repainted by hasbro to cliffjumper so that both of my guys are different toys . This has a great VW vehicle mode much better than the Studio series and the Nostalgic packaging is a must . So much fun giving this to my kids

Best G1 Bumblebee  with the best Packaging to date

Ahhh... this is not too bad for how old this original figure. Only gripes with this figure I got is just the back of the vehicle mode being an excuse for a shield but is just parts-forming due to budget constraints and that the face sculpt doesn't replicate the original facesculpt just like the Retro Gears did with the mono-visor and faceplate. Other than that, it's not bad with accurate colours and a simple transformation. Articulation is basic but can hold a few good poses. It goes well with the Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime & the Legacy G1 Universe Optimus in terms of theming.

The back piece still stings like a bee to this day

Good toy. The Netflix Bumblebee mold is pretty good, with a great VW mode. Wish the head was inspired by the actual toy like the others. Could've used the Goldbug mold.

Good Toy, Wrong Head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A recolor of the Netflix Bumblebee figure from a few years back, which I enjoyed in spite of some minor flaws. This figure largely carries over both the good and the bad from that one, though in a brighter shade of yellow (which I actually don't prefer, though I know others do)
