Definitely miles ahead of the original Studio Series mold for this figure. Granted some of the articulation isn't there anymore, but with how loose the old one was, the new one still out classes it in posability. The proportion are better on this guy too, especially now that the head isn't the size of a pinky.

A worthy upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “Bumblebee” is the best Transformers movie other than the original “The Transformers: The Movie,” so, it's the best live action Transformers film.  Having a Bumblebee from that film was a must have for my collection.  This figure is officially licensed by Volkswagen, as he converts to a Beatle as in his Alt-Mode.  Possibility is nice, and the transformation is fun.

Slug bug yellow, no slug bug back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially thought that this bumblebee would be a slight retool of its original mainline character but alas, I was wrong. This is a brand new mold that is well worth the money and it looks great. The transformation is also very satisfying.

New mold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great figure overall, has its cons. painted clearplastic roof and partial non clear painted windows make a really miscolor matching vehcle mode. Not pretty but works. Better then SS-18. Would recommend to more older audience, transformation is a bit fiddly and could break for younger kids.

Bombobi 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the closest thing to the Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee you'll get without going to a different company.  Yes it is infuriating trying to get everything tabbed in for alt mode, but once you get it together it looks great! I love this version more than the previous one sold. The box will show 116 but it is supposed to be 117.

Best Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee

Very solid figure definitely worth price tag has good paint and quality fun to flip back and forth from robot to car but he isn't super articulated and has allot of kibble but that isn't a bad thing he is way better than the original it's a good release pick this one up

It was tricky to transform, but it was a really good figure and it was fun to have in my collection. I would recommend this to people that know how to transform transformers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It lets you configure the “door wings” to have it look like the movie's promo design or downwards to look more like he did in the movie. 

Has a stable robot mode and once it's in vehicle mode, it rolls well; rear wheels are pinned, so it's satisfying in that regard. 

Cons:
Still a little finicky and worrisome to convert since some connection points are made of a fragile, clear plastic.

Omits wrist articulation for simplicity, but the ankles can move side to side for dynamic posing.

It's a good release with a few caveats.

primary the biggest issue is the back of the vehicle mode has a rough time coming together, however as long as you remember how the tabs go, you shouldnt have an issue...

overall hes a pretty nice figure, and great addition to the collection!
