I bought this new gadget for all the marinating I do to make my job a little easier.  This product works like a champ.  That is until the intake hose end gets clogged or the dial to change the settings gets turned slightly and jams the trigger.  I have 3  suggestions for Oklahoma Joe Company.  1: inform buyers that the marinade must be filtered to prevent clogging the inlet to the weighted end of the hose.  2: illustration shows nothing about the dial selector to set the volume of marinate that is mentioned in step 2 “Operating your trigger”.  3: show in the illustration or explain in the operating instructions to insure the dial on the plunger is aligned with the track it travels on or the trigger will jam.

So far the needle has clogged and the needle Scheared from the top of needle I am thankful I found the piece's very disappointed with product I can't use it again because of needle

Worst product ever! Have tried to use it twice and it locks up, jams up and just plain doesn't work.  Cheap plastic...I've had better luck with the cheap syringe that comes with the creole butter I use to inject with.  Do yourself a favor and save your money!!! This is garbage.

TOTAL GARBAGE!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Bought this last year when it came out and was planning on using it for competition, so fairly regular use. Didn't even make it to the third contest before the seals went bad and fell off and every time I replaced them it would do it almost immediately once again, keep in mind this was with fine powder injection with no spices in it....literally threw it in the trash at the contest.

Absolute Junk

Used twice before it clogged and is basically unusable.  My injection doesn't have any large pieces of spices and passes through other injectors with no issues. Do not recommend!

Junk. Clogged on the second use!

Used it one time and it didn't make it past two pulls. Jammed completely. Disassembled it and tried to use only water. Jammed again. Manufacturer needs to modify the end to let juices wirh particules exit the needle. Also recommend removing filters.

CLOGS!!

I bought this a year ago and it partially worked once before I had to switch to the injector that came with the marinade. Sucks some liquid into the hose then shoots it back out. Difficult to line up the parts to operate the plunger. Too late to get my money back but will let folks know not to wast your money on this product.

Worst product ever

I bought this a month ago and wish I'd tried it immediately upon receipt. I attempted to use this weekend (smoking my first whole hog). It would not draw the liquid in. I replaced the o-ring with the one included in the kit. No change. Filled reservoir to prime it. No change. Thinking I'll hafta return it.

Not exactly pleased

Horrible design even worse functioning product 
I didn't own this two weeks when it flew apart at the pivot points, can't inject the meat cause the plunger keeps getting jammed on the adjust dial after it rotates with the plunger halfway down. Needs something to keep the two halves securely together, and the dial from rotating on its own. Sitting in junk drawer for now.

Do not purchase

Boy did I have high hopes for this injector when I saw it at our local retail shop!  Hopes were dashed as soon as I started injecting our turkey.  My marinade has fine spices, which immediately clogged the injector.  Pain to clean.  Great concept, just not practical for most marinade recipes.  A little re-engineering by the maker and this would be an awesome product.  As is, not useable!
