Great way to eliminate weeds and unwanted grass from walkways, flower beds and other border areas. Beats using the old-fashioned wheel edger and back-breaking digging.

I've even used it for roughing out areas for burying outside electrical conduit. It makes digging final trenching depths much easier.

This edger is powerful, even in dry dirt, but I usually lightly water-soak the area to be processed. This saves on the blades and adds to ease of control. The accessory is lightweight, durable, easy to control and compact for transport and limited storage areas.

I use it interchangeably with my attachment-compatible TroyBilt 2 and 4 cycle trimmers, both kept at different locations. It truly helps to maintain a proud-looking yard appearance, in a very short amount of time.

Also pick it up occasionally to allow the debris to fall out if your working in a new area that hasn't been edged before or in a long time.  Works really good for an attachment.  I've had the weed eater since 2014.  Just bought the edger.

Trimmer plus add on lawn edger

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Installation could not be any easier. Depth of cut is easy to adjust. So far the quality seems very good and I definitely recommend this product especially when edging flower beds which was my main reason for buying it.

Worth the Price

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It's working fine for now but I can see the connection threads inside are worn already. It doesn't seem to be a sturdy one as it's been only a few uses.

Really like the job it does on the lawn, but it is loose and moves around a bit at the attachment linkage. The push stopper is smaller than the hole it fits in (that's what she said) and it moves when edging along the curb or driverway. And sometimes that will give you a crooked look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The performance of the materials used in the motor and the edger are amazing, and the edger does a better job than any electric machine I've had, and no 50 ft. extension cords. Plus, there's not as many tools to hang up or put away.

You're gonna love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works, but it takes a while to cut through thick grass. You have to go back and recut sometimes. It also gets off balance if there's dirt stuck on the blade, so you'll occasionally need to wipe it clean.
