(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Awesome snowblower for big driveway! Very wide, very powerful and awesome features such as heated grips!!! I would modify two things. That would be nice to have sliders made of metal and same thing for the chute. Both are made of plastic. However, I didn't have any problem with regards to these two things yet! Love it!

SUPEER FOR LOT OF NEIGHBOURG

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using this for couple of months, but under heavy snow and it was capable of clearing snow including ice and packed snow of around 70cm height and 2-3 acres. on a rugged and steep surface.
I absolutely love the fact that each time i press the electric start button, it starts in 2 seconds. every time. 
it is like it laughs at me when snow is below 30 cm height. so i need to disengage shooter and collect some snow and then reactivate shoot for maximum shooting distance :) 
this machine is no joke and is designed for extreme conditions. 
i changed the oil one time and i finally got the trick of checking oil level. and yes, it needs around 900ml to 1 L of 5w-30 synthetic oil. 
in the manual it says 600 ml and it was really frustrating, so be aware of that.
use your mobile phone compass app to check if it is level on the ground. then add oil and check oil level.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) this machine is a beast. Tested in extreme conditions with 80cm of packed snow in a rugged cottage surface. this machine could throw the snow 20-30 meters away! unbelievable power.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We added this snowblower to our home this winter and are so glad we did! We have been incredibly impressed by the power that this snow blower has.  It can cut through and toss fresh snow with ease, and makes quick work of moving older, harder snow as well.  We live in Manitoba which gets very cold, but with the multiple starting options, it has always started on the first try.  We have been really happy with this addition to our home and look forward to using it for years to come.

Incredible power for our large country property

From the slightest bump, the wheels skate and we have to play with the handles from left to right to free myself I should have listened to them. I see that now the wheels have REAL PNUS. So much for me. At 81 I would like to put the strength I have left on something else. Happy new owners. THAT'S FOR WHICH I RECOMMEND IT.

Troy built is a name to be trusted however this product is short of this high standard. 
The drive assembly is weak and problematic to say the least. Ideally the consumer would be given a transmission driven snow thrower!! The belts on my thrower have been changed three times since I purchased it last year. I'm not a friend to this product 
Not user friendly for new users

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The airless wheels spin out too easily and is constantly becoming stuck. I'm having to work way too hard to keep the machine moving.
Also, it does not do well in wet snow. The auger clogs way too easily and I'm having to stop and clear it after only going a short distance.

Disappointed!

Bought a Troy built 3 stage 357 cc 28 inch blower a few years back. Im the laughing stock of the street because of of the extremely poor performance from this machine. If the  outside air temp is warmer than minus 5C degrees, the machine turns doing my driveway into a painstakingly ordeal. Underpowered and a shoot that constantly gets blocked causes me to stop every 90 seconds to free snow so I can resume. Reverse speed is annoyingly slow, not sure if troy built put some kind of safety in their machine with reverse but common!!
I'm be purchasing another machine next year and can't wait. Im so ashamed of this blower that I can't bare to sell it second hand to some unsuspecting person as I'd feel too guilty and may just discard a running machine to in recycling. 
3 stage is absolute garbage!

Waste of effort and money

I brought this last April in Cambridge CNN tire I used this winter for the first time it's a piece of garbage.
We had a snow fall with about 2 inches kind of wet snow it wouldn't pick it up it just clogged my augers up.
Went out today Jan. 23 kind of wet snow about 1 to 1.5 of snow did the same thing clogged the augers up and just push the snow like it was a plow very disappointed in this machine

Will not do as ad says
