Great product. A bitter stick fits nicely in without touching the sides. Exactly what we were looking for to keep that quantity of butter stored and dust free

I like to keep butter in glass so I bought this butter dish. I love that it takes exactly a half pound of butter. When putting the lid back on I make sure I line it up perfectly so no butter gets on the lid. It looks nice. I am very happy with this product!

Butter Should Be Kept In A Glass Dish

For all the people who posted that a pound of butter doesn't fit, all they had to do was read the description.  It specifically says two (2) sticks only!!!!  That's why it doesn't fit!

NOT too small.  Read the description!

LOVE this butter dish! Holds 2 sticks (half a pound) perfectly which is what I was looking for with new butters coming out as grass-fed but only as half pounds. So hard to find glass ones, too, plastic %26 ceramic you never know what other chemicals are in them, glass.is a safer storage material

The product is ~90% large enough to fit 1 lb of butter, but only holds sticks.

The product label does not say capacity.
There are no indications in store that it uses less than 1 lb, 

Most people are going to see this and think it's going to hold a full block of butter and coming to the app to post a review should not be the first time consumers see an adequate description.

Trudeau should indicate that on the label.

Ordered to keep potential bugs in cupboard away from butter. Useless as only bottom arrived. Useless.

Might have been good if all of it arrived!

I bought this butter dish to hold butter.  It looks like it should hold a pound of butter but it doesn't fit! I feel duped. 
I don't know why it is so difficult to find a butter bush that will hold a pound of butter but it is! I've been looking for years.
