Great game, came exactly as expected.  Our kids loved this game as an AirBnB had it while we were on vacation this summer. We decided to buy it as a gift for our son who is 7 and even our older daughters 10 and 16 enjoyed playing. It is definitely a fun family game.

Awesome board game

Santa brought our six year old son Tumblin' Monkeys for Christmas. We have had so much fun with it! It required no tools to set up, only the pick-up stix had to be separated from the plastic bar they were molded too. No scissors needed it was fun to twist and snap the stix off in anticipation of play. While slightly frustrating at first to put in all of the stix to play we found the more we played the faster we were able to get them in. All of my boys (6, 14 & 18) played over several hours. It was fun for all! Especially when we followed the rules and took our stix from the top first so when the monkeys tumbled their tails caught on the tree branches below! Excellent game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This week for family game night we opened Tumbling Monkeys, by looking at the box it reminds you of other board games similar to its design, but Tumbling Monkeys puts a unique design and twist to the game making it simply more fun. I played with my 6, 9 and 12 year old. They started with their monkey impressions almost immediately, as we put together the game, which only took about 1 minute of our time. The kids and I took turns pulling out the sticks, trying our best to keep the Monkeys from falling. Believe it or not the 6 year old won the first round, so it seemed quite a fair challenge for everyone playing, with the possibility of any of us to win. That kept everyone's attention, allowing us to play 8 rounds together. That is a success for our family, we enjoyed the strategy together, and really got into our techniques for pulling out the sticks with the least amount of movement. All the kids want to play again next game night, again making this game simply worth the purchase.

Monkey game night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family had a good time playing Tumblin' Monkeys. It was very easy to assemble and get a game setup. (We had some problems attaching the leaves at the top of the tree, so we ended up just leaving them off.)

Play moves quickly and is simple enough that my 8-year old daughter was able to use some critical thinking skills to make decisions for her moves. However, my wife and I were also able to flex the strategy parts of our brains as well so everyone has fun.

The randomness of the dice roll adds another twist that keeps one player for having complete control of the game. We ended up playing at least 5 games in our first session, and my daughter is already talking about playing it again tomorrow.

Great for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great game for a family game night. Especially with a child under 5. The monkeys are adorable and the way they hang on the sticks is clever and more fun than the traditional marble. As with other games of this nature, there is more set up time needed than more standard board games, but it is great to have game that everyone in my household can play together.

Cool update to a classic family game

The game was packed tight.  Maybe too tight.  Or the person who packed it sent me a crushed box.  Now 11 days before Christmas I have to take it back and order another one.  I'm NOT giving a boxed game that looks like I got it at a yardsale. Hopefully I will get it in time.

Disappointed in packing.
