Traditional dark chocolate coated caramel wafer biscuits which do not seem to have been 'improved' by the manufacturer. My husband says they taste exactly the same as when he was a child.

Have not had one these for years took me back to my childhood didn't know they did them in dark chocolate , will buy again they are a bit more filling than biscuits i have been eatiing

Golden days

I thought these were a lovely dark version of the milk chocolate tunnocks bars! Chewy, crispy, and with that slight dark bitter twang to them. I didnt find them dry at all. Maybe the previous reviewer got a dud packet? As i have had several of both types now (and both milk and dark tunnocks tea cakes) and found them both to be delightful and perfect!
