Gaming ear phones

turtlebeach.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is the best. The ear cushions are really comfortable. The volume is load an quality. The Superman hearing mode works really well. The long battery time allows for long gaming time without having to charge. Would highly suggest.

The best headset

The sound and quality of the sound is very good and in game sounds can be heard clearly and from the correct sides, the turtle beach website was easy to navigate the only issue with the headset is that it needs the transmitter to be used, I feel like this could easily be lost and don't understand why it can't connect straight to the Xbox however the headset itself is very good and I would recommend

Headset review

Turtle Beach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these for my son who's getting into online gaming with his friends. They're comfortable and seem to work really well. He's able to jump all over the place while he's playing without losing connection or them falling off. Wanted something that would last and these seem to be excellent quality so far.

comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i turn it on the headset connects instantly as far as Sound goes its extremely loud and is probably the best sounding productive owned. The clamping force isnt to bad i have a very big head and the first few days they were tight but with any headset it takes time for them to break in and they fit comfortably even with a big head

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these and I love them. The have a great battery life. 40 hours and a quick charge feature. Great speakers. Surround Sound. Flip to mute mic. They have a cooling gel infused comfort ear cushion. I love them. They quality is excellent. The value is awesome. I recommended to family and friends.

Great Product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of good things to say about the Stealth 700 Gen2 Max headphones from Turtle Beach.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the box was the size: these are not small headphones. They are definitely a premium product meant for people who are serious about their use.
The headset appeared to be constructed of high-grade materials with tight tolerances. That is, until I tried them on for the first time (without any sound); that's when it became very clear that I had underestimated the quality of the device that was gently but firmly hugging my noggin.
After taking them off and paying closer attention, I could see the excellent attention to the detail that makes this headset perfect for the target audience.
As far as durability, there are a lot of noticeable features. There are bulky rotating joints where the earmuffs connect to the headband and separate joints on the earmuffs themselves for splaying in/out. A roughly one inch wide steel band, a channel tangent to that for wiring, and a plastic surround all make the headband well supported. Any plastics used in the headset are high-grade, not thin cheap stuff. Some of it has an almost rubberized feel to it, other pieces have a nice matte finish. Depending on the level of anger, a "throw all your stuff around" rage-quit is not an automatic death sentence for this device.
For comfort, much attention was paid to those marathon-session type gamers. Generous padding on the underside of the headband and in the earmuffs will stay comfortable for quite a while. The padding that touches the side of your head and around your ears is a spandex-like breathable material, which should prolong the amount of time before you succumb to the dreaded sweaty-ear rage. I mean, for Pete's sake, the instructions even include how to adjust their trademarked glasses relief system, which was no small engineering feat. It really does seem like they thought of every feature a gamer could want when it comes to comfort.
When it comes to sound, they are good, above average. These aren't designed for audiophiles though: they are meant for gamers. As such, there are specific features that gamers will appreciate to help elevate their game, like adaptive sound levels for particular game events (think hearing footsteps amplified in a first person pvp shooter). I haven't tested these features yet, but they are definitely intriguing for the right scenario. I also appreciate the "flip mic up to mute, down to unmute" feature, the ability to accept a call via bluetooth, and other features that put this headset over the top.
Overall, they meet or exceed features you would want in a set of headphones alone, but they surpass anything I've ever had in a gaming headset though, indicative of the premium nature of this product. For any serious gamer that has the budget, I would definitely recommend.

Great comfort for gamers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these headphones for use with my computer for listening to videos and music, as well as playing games. I connected them by using the included USB. It was very easy to set up, just remember to switch the USB to 'PC".

The headphones have very good sound, and they are very good for shutting out noise from nearby sources. The headphones work great as long as you don't get up from your computer.

When I got 8 feet from the computer, the sound started crackling. At 12 feet, the crackling is terrible, and at 15 feet they are useless. This is a deal breaker for me as I like to do things around the house while I listen to music.

These are great headphones if you stay by the source, or they might have better range using the Bluetooth option, but they don't suit my needs.

Great sound, but limited range without Bluetooth

It came, didn't work no matter how hard I tried, so I just tossed it in the garbage, waste of 200+ dollars on somethign that didn't work or even turn on even when charged, heck couldn't even turn it on to charge it

Xbox headset

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700X Gen 2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset is a complete disaster when it comes to the wireless connection. Despite firmware upgrades being the number one troubleshooting step, they do nothing to resolve the issue. The connection drops out continuously, making it impossible to enjoy any gaming experience without interruptions. The troubleshooting process is a nightmare, and it's incredibly frustrating to have to spend so much time trying to fix a product that should work right out of the box.

Resetting the headset to its default settings is equally ineffective, as the connection issues persist. It's unbelievable that Turtle Beach would release a product with such significant flaws and market it as the ultimate gaming accessory.

In conclusion, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700X Gen 2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset is a complete waste of time and money. The connection issues, troubleshooting nightmare, and ineffective firmware upgrades are unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and avoid this product. There are far better gaming headsets available on the market.

Unbearable Gaming Experience
