Ignore the negative review for this product.  I am VERY particular about my paint on my bright red truck.  I walked the truck and repaired 5 different areas, followed the directions, and didn't have to re-do a single area.  I can't tell where the repairs are, and I LOOK, trust me, I look up close, from all angles, and nothing.  This product is designed to fix clear coat issues, not restore color (only thing that does is paint, not colored waxes or gimmics).  For my deeper mars I first used dealer touch up paint then used the pads included in this kit and BAM!  Perfect results.

I just purchased this kit and am VERY happy with the results! It even removed black tar!!!! I had quite a few thin scratches and a few deeper ones. I rubbed and rubbed and with a lot of elbow grease, they disappeared to my amazement!! Can't include a photo because my car was in the garage when I worked on the scratches and my reflection was showing in the car!! Sooo......since this review is about the scratches and not about me.....trust me, this product really works. I can't wait to work on more scratches and paint marks. Yeahhhhh...I am one happy woman :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having a very hard time with the sanding, it looks worse now than when I just had a scratch I wanted to get rid of. Can't seem to get to where it's ready to buff

Hard to use - (for me)

Was very unimpressed with this product. I used it on some scratches for my black car, the scratches have diminished, but my paint job was left faded.

Horrible

Terrible product. I tried it on all kinds of paint surfaces and it did nothing to hide any of the scratches. Save your money, this product is useless.

Turtle Wax

I always used turtle wax products. My motorcycle got a scratch on it and decided to try the scratch repair kit. Well that was the worst idea I ever had. Instead of take care of the scratch It made it worse now due to the "sanding" process the paint is now dull and even more noticeable then the scratch was. Now I need to take it in to get proffesionaly done. Which I should have done in the first place. Unless you don't care about the paint try this product. But if you care about it stay away. After this once my turtle wax products run out I will be switching to a different wax. I'm very disappointed and will never recommend any turtle wax products due to this.

If I could give this negative reviews I would.

Followed all of the directions completely and ended up with hazing aorund the scratched area. Instead of having a faint scratch that I could barely see, I now have a clearcoat filled scratch (which is very visible) and hazing all around it. Not to mention that I filled in another scratch to save time and now I am hesitant to use the products again. It simply did not work. I looked at other reviews and read that I needed to use a cotton cloth and more correction compound to get the hazing out. I did that for about ten minutes and still got the same results.

MADE IT WORSE! Do Not Buy!

This product ruined my paint. I went off roading one day and got a few minor scratches from tree branches so I decided to do some touch up. Now instead of having fine scratches that was barely visible in the first place, I have hazing all over my side door. I will most likely have to get a paint job done now because of this product, thats how bad it is. The only time I would ever advise using this item is if your vehicle is 30 years old and has no clear coat or gloss left on the paint.

DO NOT USE!!!

It completely ruined my paint. I followed all of the steps correctly and now I wish I would've left the scratch alone. My paint looks dull and the tiny scratches from the pads. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. I used the headlight lens cleaner awhile back and it was also a waste of money. On this product I didn't just waste my money I bought a product that ruined the paint on my 1 year old car. I'll never use turtle wax products ever again.

TERRIBLE DO NOT USE!!!

Turtle Wax Pro

I bought this for a few minor surface scratches. Rather than helping hide those scratches, it made it worse by leaving hazy scratched areas from the scratch pads. I tried buffing it out after realizing this product wasn't removing the hazy scratch but no luck. I am far worse off now than before using this and am very unhappy.
