I love this curtain rod. The design is great, and the installation is easy and intuitive. It works great with my blackout curtains and is really useful for keeping light from coming through on the sides. I really appreciate the kind of anchors that were included for installation.

Great rod! It's functional and sleek looking.  Best part is that it's affordable.  This is the 8th rod in my home from Umbra and happy with all of them.

Very functional and sleek design

This Umbra curtain rod is the best!  The rod twists into the end brackets making the rod held in place and not sliding on brackets like other rods.  Very modern and rich looking!  The price is unbelievably a steal for the quality!  I would have paid 4X the price for this curtain rod!  Super easy to install and I'm so happy with this purchase!

Umbra Twilight Curtain Rod in matte nickel

I installed this without the middle support for a window 48" in length.  It's working great so far!  Installation was easy, and the rod is designed in such a way that you don't need to be precise down to the millimeter with your placement of the anchors.  It looks great and easily supports a heavy blackout curtain! It was so inexpensive as well!

Easy to install!

Simple, modern, excellent blackout curtain rod with full return at sides. I've used these in three different houses and find them highly satisfactory to install and use. It's easy to unscrew one side of the rod to change curtains, no need to pull the bracket off to make a change.

Great curtain rod provides light control at sides

I have been shopping Umbra for many years and have Umbra curtain rods all over my house. As usual, this curtain rod is magnificent putting in evidence every bit of the curtain itself. Its simplicity and soft curves makes it ideal for a finished look that is smooth, modern and just perfect. It is a sturdy rod that holds well. Moreover, the fact that you do not need 'holder brackets' on each side, makes your curtain run through without getting caught anywhere. Umbra, did I mentioned how much I love you? (lolll)

Beau et pratique

Good quality curtain rail. Looks smart, easy to install. The curved rail is a nice detail to enhance blackout. Would have got 5 stars is it came with better wall plugs. The ones provided didn't go well with the plaster board leading to minor damage and a less tidy finish. That being said the rail fixtures covered this up.

Good quality curtain rail

The rod itself is good and solid, but the hardware included in the package was useless. Literally none of the drywall anchors worked. My curtains weighed around 5kg (half the weight limit for the rod) and the anchors were being pulled out of the wall under the weight. I ended up using my own, longer screws and anchored the rod to studs.

If you want to use your own screws, make sure to use screws that have 1/4” flat heads and are around 2” in length (at least 1 1/2”).

Good rod, poor hardware

I wanted to love this because UMBRA has such good quality products. It is flimsier than expected as it is quite thin and can be jostled side to side when installed (even in studs). When the curtains on it are pulled, they catch the seams each time and eventually pull the middle rod out and then sag. Not worth returning as there are now new holes in the walls and the packaging is large to ship.

Really too bad

Only ships with one center bracket. You absolutely need two if you need to extend beyond half of the center sliding extension rod. Also with proper installation the brackets are very loose against the wall. Would not recommend.
