LOVE this rod! The design hides the wall mount, which was important to me. Both rods allow the curtains to move all the way to the wall, where others that were similar did not. Best design for blackout rods! I wish there were extension kits that could be bought to accompany this rod to allow it to be used for longer areas. If that becomes available, I would buy these rods for my entire home!

The BEST curtain rod

This curtain rod is very good. I use it for a sheer curtain followed by a regular curtain. That way I can adjust the amount of privacy or light as I desire. It's nice to have it all in one.

Very well designed, can block the light around the edge. Only disadvantage is the poles are too thin. Still give this product a five star. It worths it.

Super easy to assemble and looks great with both sets of curtains

Double down!

As a designer drawn to innovative designs, I ordered two medium-sized UMBRA Twilight rods. The rods came with brackets, screws and drywall anchors. 

I believe curtain rods should be anchored into wood inside walls if possible. As a rule, many kits included with rods, shade, or blinds frequently do not include screws long enough to reach wood inside some walls.

I recommend users have some 3" and 2" screws on hand in case there are wood studs or beams inside walls into which rods can be anchored.

We used 3" screws [we had provided] to screw through the top holes of the brackets and into wood inside the walls. We then used screws and drywall anchors that came with the rods to screw through the bottom holes of the brackets. 

So far, everything is holding and looks really good.

BEAUTIFUL DESIGN, WORKS SO FAR

Two months ago, got  two of them - easy to assemble and hang, great for two layers of curtains - blackout thermal plus sheer on the inner rod! Great product for my 120 inch windows!!!

Great Rods for Big 10 feet/120 inch) windows

Like others had mentioned the fittings included are not suitable to withhold the weight of actual curtains. 

The curtains I put up were of average weight, the fixtures failed and ended up coming out of the wall. I had to patch the wall and reinstall with bigger wall plugs and screws.

I've installed many curtain rails over the years, never had this happen before.

Style over substance

The rod is great however I only received 2 back plates. The 3rd was missing so I have to figure out a way to mount the center support. Not very happy
