This arrived well packaged and intact.  Fairly simple to put together (less than 1 hour) with one screw driver.  All pieces were well marked (A,B,C,D etc.) and the directions (really just pictures, no words) were very easy to follow.  Be aware that the holes for screws are covered up at the end with "sticky white dots" and once you place them, you won't be able to get them off, so aim well.  The edges are nicely sanded so there will not be any problems with splinters on little toddler fingers.   It appears to be very strong and sturdy.  We placed the bottle warmer, baby monitor and a telephone extension on it.  I would buy this item again.  PS - it came with extra brackets and screws to attach a second shelf on top, (these units are stackable) but we did not use them as we wanted just the single unit.

Good Value, Easy Assembly

This item was purchased as a gift for my grandson to use as a toy box.  He loves it!  It is very sturdy.   He can easily remove and put away his toys.  And it keeps the room tidy.

Great purchase

I love this. I love that you can stack it. I love that it's easy to put together. I love the sleek look of it. I love that it's steady. I will probably buy another one. There is so much room for all those toys that end up on the floor and played with on the daily.

so much storage!

Very easy to put together. You might need someone to help but not really. Doesn't take long at all. Sturdy. I like the fact that you can stack other ones on top and they come with brackets to make sure that they don't fall or slide off. All you need is a screw driver to assemble.

Great for my playroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very nice for what you paid for. The only thing I didn't like was the screw holes showing that are covered with stickers. They are solid and are a much better price point than the pottery barn ones

I was really very pleasantly surprised with this item.  It's lovelier in person than online, the color is a deeper, richer, darker blue.  It's perfect.  My only complaint is the nail head cover stickers aren't the best quality.  I would rather touch them up with paint I think or get a stronger plastic cover for them.  This is a great product for the price!

Pleasantly surprised

Not as fancy as the expensive comparables but for the price and what we need it for, works great. The stickers don't bother me a lot but I am sure they won't last very long, fast shipping to my front door and husband was able to put together fairly fast and easy. Would recommend over the $200 competitor if you're looking for a toy storage piece but don't want to spend that much.

Missing several pieces required for complete assembly. Had to improvise with what we already had lying around to put together. Some of the screws were defective.

Missing assembly parts

The cubbies are just okay. You get what you pay for. But the smell is NAUSEATING. After one week with the windows open, the cubbies are still outgassing and makes my eyes sting and gives me a headache. I did not see anything about that on the previous reviews or I would not have purchased them.
