[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using UAG Monarch for every galaxy I've had since the Galaxy S10. Had to snag one again for my S22U. Great protection, since I literally toss my phone around when I get home from work. I've dropped it several times and my phone is still in one piece. Solid design, hasn't changed much since it's release, why change what's not broken right? Good gear, just wish there were several more color options

I moved away from Otterbox years ago because the rubber they use always swells when exposed to oil. UAG cases don't swell from oil, they're much lower profile, and they are extremely sturdy, long-lived cases.

Great as always

I actually ordered this case and the phone same day - received the case a week before the phone was released lol. Great case on the S22 Ultra. I purchased it because I had a Monarch on my Note 8 and it saved my phone multiple times over the 5 years I had it. Love UAG Monarchs for phones, now if only UAG would design a Monarch for my iPad…. .

UAG Quality

The short: Buy this case. Carbon fiber is luxurious. Incredibly durable. Worth every penny.

The long version: Ever since my first UAG case for my Note 4, I have always used UAG. The customer service has always been excellent, though rarely needed. UAG makes consistently high quality phone cases. They do not show wear, even after years of rough use, are incredibly light weight, and from my experience they are more durable than any competitors. I have dropped phones 6 feet onto concrete, thrown them 30 feet on gravel, and accidentally slammed one phone in a truck door (this one was bad). Despite this obvious neglect of my devices, since switching to UAG years ago, I have never once had a cracked screen, broken rear glass, or a single scratch on any phone. To say that I love UAG products is a gross understatement.

You deserve this case.

I bought the monarch case for my S22 Ultra and it is a solid case. I have used UAG cases for the past 7 years for both android and iPhone and my iPad. I have had 0 issues with the cases or UAG in general. If you are looking for a tough case then look no further, UAG is top notch quality worth every dollar.

Another great case!

The first screen went on the s20 flawlessly and prevented that phone from having a cracked screen. The second screen included with the purchase came in handy. The s22 screen went on flawlessly as well, and I'm looking forward to as good a result with that product as I had with the first.

This is my second phone protected by your product the first was a Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra 5G now upgraded to the Samsung F-22 Ultra.

This is my 3rd Monarch case on 3rd phone in about 7 years. I'm not sure how necessary Kevlar or leather is, but the engineering and standard materials are clearly spot on. Broke one screen in 7 years when I face planted on a rock and it was in my pocket screen facing out :(. (yes, I had 1 drink too many apparently!)
Other than that it has saved my phone through all kinds of big and small drops, at least a few a week, sometimes more.
The monarch for the new s22 ultra is business as usual - which is to say fantastic. Handsome, durable, charges wireless no problem, and phone installs easy - but not too easy. My 3 year old Monarch is still in great shape - where is the reseller market for UAG cases?

Your Phone is KING-get the Monarch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The case is strong but light.I have the crimson red for the s22 ultra.
The only problem is there is nowhere to fit a wristlet to it so you don't drop the phone. I'm using the top hole for mine but think about that when your designing cases otherwise you would have scored 5 stars.

RED CASE

I have really enjoyed using UAG cases for the past 4 or so years. Great quality, can confirm. My old Note 9 case is holds up well to this day. No complaints. This case, the S22U monarch is also great however, you cannot use power share with this case. No wireless charging for my accessories. :( The temporary case I used while I waited for this one to come in the mail worked great for charging my buds off my phone, but the large plastic reinforcement on the back of this case is too thick to charge anything from your phone. Still an amazing case! Just slightly disappointed that I lost that feature completely. Normal wireless charging works fine.

Really great BUT

I've had a Monarch case on my Note 10+ and my S20+ for a few years. I loved that case! I just received my S22 Ultra today and put a new Monarch case on it and I'm going to have a serious look at other case options. I HATE the new grip texture on the sides. Why would you change from the nice, grippy slash grip design that was on the previous gen Monarchs to the barely noticeable, shallow, smooth hex pattern? Same with the little bumpers/feet on the corners of the back? Why would you get rid of them? The phone used to stay put when it was on its back now it slides around way too easily and, if I'm not mistaken, it's going to cause more rapid deterioration of the nice, crimson finish. I got the case a few days before the phone arrived and I was thinking about getting the new Kevlar Monarch in Olive as a second case to change with my mood. Glad I held off because there's a very good chance this new case is going back to the store. Bring back the old design!! It's still a good case but it used to be GREAT.
