The modem works as described easy setup plug-and-play auto or manual answer. A nice addition for anyone that has a computer that have a need to send a fax occasionally, or receive a fax. Great value for the cost. I recommend the product.

Easy setup, just plug it in and it install everything you need to start using a dial up service. Wow!

Excellent product  Win7 X64

I used this on my Windows 10 computer with a caller ID application to display information when the phone rings.

Windows automatically installed the driver, simply set my location when property dialog appeared. Stamp it done.

This Modem is just what I needed to use fax, and @ a great price.

computer has fax but no phone plug.

It was easy to install to computer and starting accepting faxes to computer once all programs were updated. It is a really good external fax modem.

I was pleased to receive this dial-up modem from US Robotics, but I had a lot of problems with the driver for my 64-bit Win10 Dell laptop. I had similar problems with my older 32-bit WinVista Dell laptop. Basically, I was able to get this modem to work for either computer with a USB 2.0 port using the default plug 'n play driver or the Version 2.2.102 driver, but I couldn't get it to work with the latest Version 2.2.104 driver. Also, on my current 64-bit Win10 laptop, it wouldn't work with a USB 3.0 port. I contacted technical support, but they weren't able to tell me why it wouldn't work with the latest 2.2.104 driver.

Trouble with driver for modem

This works great on windows 7 and would be a great value but would not work on Windows 8.1

Works great on Windows 7 but not on my win 8.1

Worked great on USB on a Windows 10 Dell laptop the first time. Can't beat it for the price.
Got it in two days after ordering on line..

Plug in fax machine!

I bought this product and it is not work at all. Also, there is no technical information available inside the box and neither on-line. I already returned it.
