Udi's gluten free, soft, white sandwich bread

Okay. So the bread hasn't always been the best..but something has changed and it is pretty darn good now. I make a breakfast sandwich most mornings so I eat it a lot. I will say that I had a problem with hard bits in the bread multiple times...? I don't know what that's about.. but I still continue to buy it but I don't have much of choice in gluten free bread. But I genuinely do like it. And it is not every time that it happens. But I really have been eating this bread for a while now and it has been the bread for me.

Best gluten free bread I have had

udisglutenfree.com

This is the only bread I have been using for years.

For the last month it has been very difficult to find.
Now it can't be found anywhere in my County and we are being told it is not available anymore in Canada.

Can you tell me how I can find a way to be able to enjoy this bread again.
I do not have anything else to eat.
I am a very severe celiac.

I thought we were able to shop back and forth with Canada in the United States they have also told me about another company that is not available in Canada anymore that was gluten free this is crazy

How come this is discontinued in Canada

Reducing the load size is extremely Insensitive to the needs of your market, Udi.
It seems more that your desire to take advantage of those with dietary needs matters more than providing a product that meets their needs. Where is your VOC??? Please listen to your end users!!

Too small...next they'll just sell you the bag

I have been gluten free for a long time and was so happy when Udi's Started making the larger slices of the soft white sandwich bread. Now, it's time gone. I am considering buying a bread machine and making my own bread. Small bread is a terrible size for sandwiches. I love your bread, but I think our relationship is over unless you ring back the 24oz. Bread loaf.

Disappointed in smaller size

I bought this bread as my child has allergy to wheat, dairy and soy. The bag no longer says soy free however it also does not list soy as an ingredient. Has the recipe changed and now contains hidden soy? What is the reason for the removal of the “soy free” label?

Change ingredients?

Theresa Baez

I've complained about this before and I know it will fall on deaf ears but somehow it still makes me feel better as I throw away yet another two slices of bread that won't keep their shape.

It has been this way ever since you changed the recipe. That super magical recipe for bread that actually tasted and acted like bread. I don't know why you ruined it but you really, really did a number on the recipe. Not a SINGLE loaf has a set of slices that are all viable. There are ALWAYS slices that fall apart. Always always always. How do you call that a successful product revamp??? How how how?

And I get it. You're probably wondering why I'm still buying this nonsense. Sadly, as lame as this bread now is, it is still one of the best on the market flavor and consistency wise. Nary a slice will actually stay together but when they do, it's better than most.

You ruined one of my most valued staples yet you now get 3x my money to get the same amount of bread because that's just how bad most GF bread is. Make it make sense.

Sincerely,
Someone who remembers just how amazing your bread was originally

Should NEVER have changed the recipe

this is less than a half a loaf of bread. the pieces are tiny and not one part of it is delicious this stuff is nasty as it gets and way more expensive then any other bread sad have to be gluten free person

gross

PLEASE start making larger slices of Udi's bread and larger loaves! I use 3 slices of bread to make my son a sandwich, it is ridiculous! At the price I have to pay for 1 loaf I am in search of other gluten free bread. Your bagels have also become too thin which makes them difficult to slice! I have seen most of the negative comments here regarding the same issue PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

NEED LARGER SLICES, AND LARGER LOAVES!

Christine Biermann

I'd been curious to try Udi's white bread as their whole grain and omega flax breads are one of very few gluten free brands I can rely on to taste good, even if they do fall apart somewhat easily.
This one was a huge disappointment. I now have a loaf of it that I'm not sure what do with. I hate wasting food but this one puts me to mind of styrofoam.
I'll be sticking with the whole grain and omega flax and pray they don't change that recipe.

If sadness had a flavor
