Reel

I got this to give as a non surprise gift, I honestly don't know that much about fishing. reels so I let the  gift getter pick it out, It was on clearance so I guess you could say the gift was surprisingly affordable,and the brand Ugly Stick was what the gift receiver wanted so, I guess the pole cought the eye of two happy customers.  Happy Potential Fishing!

This is a nice little rod and reel combo that works great for casual fishing. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for tossing in the truck for a quick stop at the pond or creek. The reel is smooth, and the drag system works well for the size — ideal for small to medium fish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] rod is solid enough for bass and catfish, sensitive enough for panfish.

reel isnt the smoothest but its fine and feels sturdy enough

didn't like that the anti reverse doesn't work. keeps tangling up, and spilling off after I cat out.

This has got to be the worst fishing pole I have ever owned. 

Within a couple weeks of using this new fishing pole, the rod would come apart in two when casting. No matter how hard you pushed it back in, it would still come apart occasionally. 

Last night I went to cast and the screw on the reel apparently came loose and now is unopperable. I searched all over to find the screw with no luck. 

I am sadden by this because use Uglystick is my go to affordable brand. We fish often and now I am without a pole.

Broke within a couple weeks.

The rod and reel are junk it's not worth the money the fishing rod doesn't stay together at all and the drag is messed up on the reel

Handle broke off reel almost immediately, like third cast. Poke sections don't stay together. Love ugly sticks but this one came junk!!!
