Ease Of Use

This polish is the best I've used, easy to put on easy to take off. My results were outstanding, used the ultimate compound first, which is good stuff then polish to finish wow! Use a DA machine and you will be happy.

walmart.com

Used it on a car that is 15 years old which had never been polished but car was already in good shape. Applied the polish using a polisher which made the car much shiner and probably closer to what the car looked like new, I think it went from good to great. Would recommend to anyone.

Very good product

This product is part of a 5 step process. It is amazing! My car look better than new. I used it with a DA Polisher and foam pads. I did the following: all the products are made by Meguiar's and Walmart them for the best price!
1. Ultimate Car wash
2. Clay Bar Kit
3. Ultimate Compound
4. Ultimate Polish
5. Ultimate Liquid Wax

Truly Incredible Product!!!

Used this after Meguiars ultimate compound and the results were SHINY. Used both with a dual action/random orbital polisher. You can try polishing by hand but it will not be worth the time to just use a machine, especially if you're doing paint correction on the whole car. I used the Meguiars tutorial video on YouTube which I recommend. You don't need to use nearly as much polish compared to compound. No need to prime the pad, I just did two crossing lines on the pad per panel with two passes using the polisher at around 3800 rpm.

SHINY

I used this with a Harbor Freight Dual Action 6" polisher & pads (Lake Country 5.5 backing plate). With the blue polishing pad it has completely restored amazing shine & luster to my 15 year old oxidized Earl Scheib 1-stage enamel paint job. Darkens/richens the paint color by leaving polishing oils behind (conditions paint too). The only thing that could make this product better was if it could magically remove dents too. lol

Fantastic Meguiars product

Excellent product. Best I have found. Just remember to buff right after applying or you will get some haze.

Applied with a DA orbital buffer after wash and claying. It removed all the fine scratches left behing from the Auto car wash. Also used Meguiar s Ultimate Liquid Wax for protection.

As always, I love Meguiar's products. They've been around for many years and never seem to fail me. Bought this polish to fix a messed up and scratched radio screen on a 2015 Audi Q7. A dab/pea sized amount went a long way. Cleaned with a rag and polished the radio right up. Doesn't have any unpleasant odors. Thank you for never letting me down. And no, I am not paid to leave the review nor receive any compensation for my review. For whatever reason I could not upload images of before/after here as the option just would not function. But, I am happy and glad I tried this out.

Meguiar's Always Come Through

Meguiar's G19216 Ultimate Polish (16 oz) is a popular product for car detailing, primarily used as a pre-wax cleaner and polish. Here's a pros and cons breakdown:

Pros:
Deep Gloss and Shine:
One of the key highlights of this polish is its ability to enhance the vehicle's paintwork, leaving a glossy, wet-look shine.
Easy to Use:
The product is relatively easy to apply by hand or machine. It spreads smoothly, reducing the effort needed to achieve a great finish.
Perfect for Pre-Waxing:
Ultimate Polish acts as a prep step for waxing, providing a clean and polished surface that helps waxes adhere better and last longer.
Suitable for All Paint Types:
It's safe to use on most automotive paints, including clear coats, and doesn't leave behind any hazy residue, which makes it versatile.
Removes Light Swirls and Imperfections:
While not a heavy-duty compound, it helps to reduce light swirls and imperfections, offering noticeable improvement in the paint's clarity.
Non-Abrasive Formula:
The formula is non-abrasive, making it gentle on paint and ensuring that it won't cause micro-marring or damage to the finish.
Cons:
Not for Heavy Scratches or Oxidation:
It's effective at removing light imperfections but doesn't do much for deeper scratches or heavily oxidized paint. For those, you'd need a more aggressive compound or polish.
Requires Additional Products for Best Results:
To achieve maximum protection and depth, this polish should be followed by a good wax or sealant. It's not a one-step solution.
Durability of Shine:
The gloss it creates is impressive, but it may not last as long as some other polishes or waxes, meaning you might need to reapply more frequently.
Price:
Although it's not overly expensive, it is priced higher compared to some other similar polishes. Depending on how much product you need, it could add up.
Not Ideal for All-In-One Needs:
If you're looking for a product that polishes, corrects, and protects in one step, this might not be the best option since it's focused more on polishing and gloss enhancement.
Summary:
Meguiar's G19216 Ultimate Polish is a solid option for those looking to enhance the shine and clarity of their vehicle's paintwork before applying a wax or sealant. It's gentle, easy to use, and provides noticeable improvement on light imperfections. However, it's not suited for major paint correction, and the gloss it provides may not be as long-lasting as other options.

A Glossy Shine with Light Imperfection Removal

This polish worked well for my clean car before applying Zymol wax. It was easier to use than the Meguiar's Deep Crystal System polish I used before, but it does not smell quite so good as Zymol HD Clense.
