Heavy duty flap. Comes with attachment bolts. Used 1.5 inch angle iron for bracket.

Easy install Looks great

walmart.com

a little disappointed at having to buy the angle iron in order to install this.

I mounted this rock guard under my class A motorhome to the frame instead of mounting it to the bottom of the bumper. I wanted a cleaner look. There were only two attachment points available on the frame under the motorhome. I contacted the manufacturer who advised that they did not know why the angle would not support the guard with only two attachment points, but they have no experience with mounting that way and could not give a recommendation. So far, I have had no issues with the guard sagging on the ends - between the thickness of the angle iron material and the rubber rock guard material, it seems that it would resist sagging. Only time will tell. Otherwise, I highly recommend this rock guard for the sleek look and the ease of trimming it as needed for height and for drilling holes to mount it to the angle if you have to remove part of the top to trim for height. The only real complaint is that the diagrams in the instructions are almost like optical illusions as to which direction the top edge of the angle should be facing - forward or to the rear. I called the manufacturer again. The customer rep was the same and was quite pleasant and helpful. He told me that the diagram could be more clear and gave me directions for which direction to mount the horizontal surface of the angle iron.

Works well and looks very sleek when mounted
