Money well spent.  My son has a bunk bed that came with wooden slats to support the mattress.  One of the supports on the bottom bunk broke.  These bunkie boards add the extra support so we didn't even have to fix the broken slat.  They were easy to put together and they fit right over the slats.  No matter how much he moves around on the bed, they don't make a sound.  Very happy with this purchase!

Company is coming in a couple weeks and I order a mattress and box spring for a twin daybed I bought. How excited I was until I put everything together....the box spring and mattress were not a good idea as the combo sat several inches above the foot board. After some reasearch I found this Bunkie board and could not be happier with it. Sturdy construction and easy to assemble and store as well if I ever need to do so.

Life Saver!

This is an excellent bunkie board.  It is thin (giving another inch or two of headroom in the bunk bed) but strong, being constructed of a steel frame covered in a snug, zipped fabric pouch. The frame is in two parts which easily went together.  At this point, it is noiseless. (In the past I've had upholstered wood frame bunkie boards which tended to squeak over time.)

Great Quality; Saves Space

Needed a substitute for a box spring because they were all too long for my twin bed. This bunkie board amazed me because the fit was perfect! It fit like a glove on the frame and even came with a cover, which I didn't expect. Supports the twin mattress wonderfully!

Better than a box spring

I bought this Bunkie board for a regular full sized bed (not a bunk bed) when I didn't want to have to buy a box spring for the new memory foam mattress I purchased. However, I still needed support, so did some perusing and found this. Ordered it, and it was exactly what it stated. It was super easy to put it briefly together (just the two halves, then you put on a pad), and fit perfectly. Seems very sturdy. I would definitely recommend it to someone else.

Just what I wanted.

The whole product is excellent.  It comes well packaged and is so easy to assemble -- I'm 77 and did it myself in 5 minutes.  The steel frame is heavy and rigid, and finished beautifully with no rough spots.  The quilt cover is thick, easy to put on the frame, and adds to the overall feeling of a luxury purchase at a very reasonable cost. On my bed it supports the mattress perfectly and erases a previous sag causing back pain. I feel lucky to find such a wonderful product and happy solution.

Great Quality and Very Good Value

We needed a bed foundation to replace box springs that made the bed too tall for my elderly Mother.  This product solved all our problems; it is a firm, sturdy alternative to a box spring.  Exactly what we needed.

Perfect solution

I had bought a platform/trundle bed full size. I would feel my mattress sag between the wooden slats of the frame. This was a great alternative to a low profile box spring/foundation.
It was easy to put together and seems very solid. More solid than a wooden bunkie board, IMHO. No more sagging. Yay!
The price was alittle high than a wooden bunkie, but I think well worth it. And the shipping was fast.

Just What I Needed

Its was a little smaller than expected had to put wood pieces on the sides to make it fit perfect in the bottom bunk. Its super strong tho and my boyfriend put the wood panel inside the cloth covering and it can hold a super amt of weight . Very happy

Just what i was looking for

I ordered two twin size bunkie boards for my kids bunkbed.  I up graded their mattress to 8 inch memory foam. The item itself is great but I gave it 4 stars because I feel one may of been a bit damaged while shipping or defected. One box was broken on the corners and was very difficult to put together. I had to hammer it in, while the other was easily assembled. If you have this issue, it may be slightly damaged as no where in the instruction does it say you need to use a hammer lol.  All in all it's very sturdy. Kids love the way their new mattress feels over the steel bunkie boards. No squeaky noise and has a pleasant look bc the steel frame comes with a tight fitting zippered cover.  Worth the investment!
