The Bird Cafe bird feeder from Umbra features a cube-shaped architectural form with asymmetrical windows. When filled, seed is visible through the clear plastic windows and flows out of holes in the bottom into the wrap-around tray for birds to perch on and feast. Bird Cafe's roof features an overhang design, allowing rain to clear off so that the bird feeder stays dry no matter the weather. Constructed of durable, molded plastic with a steel cable for hanging, feeder measures 9-inch wide by 9-inch (23 cm) long by 8.5-inch (23 cm) high. Remove the lid to fill with seed from the top. Seed not included. Hand wash or wipe clean. Can hold approximately 68 oz (2 L.) of birdseed.

I bought this for unshelled sunflower seeds for smaller birds, like chickadees. Works well and holds a surprising amount of seed. I like that the birds must perch on the edge to feed (no poop in the seed) and that plastic can be cleaned and sterilized—especially now with avian flu in wild birds. Would be better if it could be taken apart more easily for cleaning.

Feed the birds

This minimal and stylish bird house it is a great addition to my garden. It allows the birds to feed and the squirrels to pull their most acrobatic skills. Which is a joy to watch.

Stylish and robust

I purchased the Bird Cafe Feeder for a friend for his birthday.
He enjoys welcoming all the birds to his rear patio. I asked him how things were going  with the feeder & he
loves it! Many small birds come & feed while the large ones do not. He is pleased with that!

Great bird feeder!  Like everything I have ordered from Umbra, it arrived in perfect condition and on the expected date.  Great product—great service.

I would recommend this birdhouse to a friend, for this birdhouse is well built. The hanging wire on the birdhouse is covered  in plastic so it won't rust. It is also easy to fill with birdseed. This birdhouse is built sturdy enough to last me a long time.

Great feeder for harsh /coastal environment!

I really love the look of this bird cafe but there is one design flaw unfortunately. The songbirds sometimes sit right in the seed tray instead of the edge and this is unsanitary. If Umbra could add a separate perch bar all the way around the tray then the birds could sit on the separate rim and eat out of the tray without soiling the seeds the other way. Otherwise a beautiful bird feeder.

Beautiful but  has one design flaw.

Cute little bird feeder.  Looked great for 2 days..then the squirrels decimated the roof..just chewed the bejesus out of it.  Birds loved it though.  I can send a picture.
