Every person should have one of these by their front door. On my third house and every time buyers wamt it left for them. 

I look for places to use these coat hooks around the house. Due to their clean and modern look. They are incredibly practical and durable. Not like those outdated wall coat racks from days oast.

You.can  literally hang anything on them. The one by my door is home to heavy backpacks, purses, dog leadhes and coats. Be sure to anchor in studs if hanging backpacks.

I use them in the stariwell to the basement forops and suchm Have also given them as gifts.

Saw this item at a church.  They had about 8 of these in a row all mounted on a 2 - 2 1/2 " board to 
extend it out away from the wall, maybe to allow thicker coats to hang without falling off.

They look very European and minimal style.  Very nice.  They used the Oak finish, as we did also.

flip 8 and flip 5 wall hooks

I bought the eight hook and five hook pieces for our entry way. They look great, are very sturdy and easy to install. I would definitely recommend them.

Great quality

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, since I already had one 8-hook flip wall mounted hook, but of a smaller size. The one I already had was full all the time and I needed extra space for children's clothes as well. Since it looked nice and was practical, I decided to order one more, paying zero attention to the measurements. So this one arrived and it was literally twice the size! I do find it extremely practical as well as nice-looking.
The spaces between the hooks allow easy access and unused hooks can be folded nicely. The only disadvantage I would point out is the slight decrease in overall quality (compared to my older hook, the edges of the hooks are not ideally cut etc).

Great spacing

purchased the Umbra Flip 8 hooks for our foyer closet renovation, and they've been one of my favorite upgrades. The design is beautiful, clean, and functional. When the hooks are folded up, they almost look like a piece of modern wall décor rather than a storage solution.

We needed a way to hang coats, bags, and everyday items without making the closet feel cluttered, and these hooks helped maximize the space while keeping everything organized. I also appreciate that each hook folds down individually, so you only use what you need.

Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, the unit feels sturdy and well-made. The wood finish and overall appearance elevate the look of the closet far beyond what standard utility hooks would have provided.

My only hesitation is that I can't yet speak to the long-term durability of the flip-down hooks themselves. They operate smoothly and feel solid now, but because they are moving parts, I'm curious to see how they hold up after years of daily use.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The Umbra Flip 8 strikes a rare balance between style and practicality, and it has made our closet both more functional and more attractive.

Stylish Organization That Doesn't Look Like St

The item is attractive, but when the hooks are "down," the finish behind each hook (which shows) is quite rough looking. It's painted white, but the material underneath looks bumpy. I also have a shorter brown wood version of the wall-mounted hooks, but on that one, the finish behind each hook is smooth. So, I'm not sure if the issue is with the longer model or with the white-painted model. This isn't the end of the world, but it's something I noticed right away. I have not yet been able to hang either piece, but I do worry that the bigger one won't be able to hold too many items, as has been suggested in other reviews. Fingers crossed. I love Umbra designs.

Flip 8 wall hooks...issue with the white paint

Bought 3 of the wall mounted hooks, as they looked nice.  When we got them out of the box we realized that the way to mount is only with putting holes in the wall.   The centres are not 16" apart so only into drywall.   Seemed flimsy so we sent them back.  Please design with 16" center holes so you can affix directly into your wall studs.   They would be perfect then.

I'm a product

I have a smaller one of these bought a few years ago. The hooks are metal. This time, they are plastic and one hook  doesn't stay "closed". The wood seems of inferior quality and the color isn't a rich honey brown as the earlier one. A manufacturer change? I can't return as the packaging has been discarded. First time a Umbra product has been a disappointment.

Not ask described and shown on website. 
It was shown and described as white hooks on white frame . I received silver hooks on white frame. Customer service said they didnt have anymore white on white and so simply sent me the other option without verifying if i was interested in the different colour combination. Which i wasnt. Now i have to deal with the return.
