Ease Of Assembly

Build Quality

Sturdiness

Made with smooth finish and long-lasting components.

Has a contemporary look with clean lines.

Can be easy for some users, but challenging without studs.

Hooks fold into the wood when not in use.

We have had this wall hook for years and my daughter likes it so much she asked us to buy her one for her new apartment. It looks great and works well.

We've Loved the Flip 8 Wall Hook for a Decade.

umbra.com

Perfect size to hold my many caps, great color, easy to install

flip 8 and flip 5 wall hooks

Saw this item at a church. They had about 8 of these in a row all mounted on a 2 - 2 1/2 " board to
extend it out away from the wall, maybe to allow thicker coats to hang without falling off.

They look very European and minimal style. Very nice. They used the Oak finish, as we did also.

Hang it!!

This is our second Flip—the first was damaged in a fire—and we ordered a replacement without a second thought. It's classy, functional, and convenient. My only complaint is that it can be a challenge to hang unless studs are right where you need them. Use sturdy drywall hangers and measure carefully if they're not!

Great Wall Hooks

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, since I already had one 8-hook flip wall mounted hook, but of a smaller size. The one I already had was full all the time and I needed extra space for children's clothes as well. Since it looked nice and was practical, I decided to order one more, paying zero attention to the measurements. So this one arrived and it was literally twice the size! I do find it extremely practical as well as nice-looking.
The spaces between the hooks allow easy access and unused hooks can be folded nicely. The only disadvantage I would point out is the slight decrease in overall quality (compared to my older hook, the edges of the hooks are not ideally cut etc).

Great spacing

We needed to expand our coat rack situation in our very small foyer after adding a kid to our household. After tons of searching, we landed on these. They're perfect for our traditional-meets-modern style, and we like that they're unobtrusive when folded up, for the warmer months. And they come in a range of widths! We got a big one for the adults and a small one for the kid. All in all a great product. And the paper ruler that comes with the mounting hardware is a touch of genius.

Great design, many options

purchased the Umbra Flip 8 hooks for our foyer closet renovation, and they've been one of my favorite upgrades. The design is beautiful, clean, and functional. When the hooks are folded up, they almost look like a piece of modern wall décor rather than a storage solution.

We needed a way to hang coats, bags, and everyday items without making the closet feel cluttered, and these hooks helped maximize the space while keeping everything organized. I also appreciate that each hook folds down individually, so you only use what you need.

Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, the unit feels sturdy and well-made. The wood finish and overall appearance elevate the look of the closet far beyond what standard utility hooks would have provided.

My only hesitation is that I can't yet speak to the long-term durability of the flip-down hooks themselves. They operate smoothly and feel solid now, but because they are moving parts, I'm curious to see how they hold up after years of daily use.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The Umbra Flip 8 strikes a rare balance between style and practicality, and it has made our closet both more functional and more attractive.

Stylish Organization That Doesn't Look Like St

I have a smaller one of these bought a few years ago. The hooks are metal. This time, they are plastic and one hook doesn't stay "closed". The wood seems of inferior quality and the color isn't a rich honey brown as the earlier one. A manufacturer change? I can't return as the packaging has been discarded. First time a Umbra product has been a disappointment.

Plastic

Bought 3 of the wall mounted hooks, as they looked nice. When we got them out of the box we realized that the way to mount is only with putting holes in the wall. The centres are not 16" apart so only into drywall. Seemed flimsy so we sent them back. Please design with 16" center holes so you can affix directly into your wall studs. They would be perfect then.

I'm a product

Not ask described and shown on website.
It was shown and described as white hooks on white frame . I received silver hooks on white frame. Customer service said they didnt have anymore white on white and so simply sent me the other option without verifying if i was interested in the different colour combination. Which i wasnt. Now i have to deal with the return.
