For Beginners

Ease Of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros:
Easy to put together- trick....attach 3 of the velcro pieces together. Then insert the ball and wrap the 4th velcro piece and attach. Wrap other end around your torso and set!

Maximizes athletes time working on skills as opposed to chasing the ball

All around fun for soccer athletes or just a bored kid!

Cons:
Just a tad bit tricky to get the ball in, if you aren't thinking about it. Follow instructions above.

Easy to put together and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally love this! My son said that he doesn't need practice because he's “ fly “ on the field yet when he tried practicing, he quickly realized that he needs much needed practice with controlling the ball. The straps fit around the ball so well. My favorite thing about this is that it's long enough to run with it without tripping over it and it really does help you train! The price is unbeatable as well!

Indoor / outdoor soccer trainer

My 8 yr old grandson wears this thing everywhere. Loves kicking his soccer ball and not having to run after it . It comes right back. Careful kicking too hard or it can snap back too quickly and hit you pretty hard. Once he got used to it he absolutely loved it!

This trainer was great for my grandson. He's a great player now!

Soccer Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was exactly as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has used a similar kick trainer before using this Umbro version, however, this one is really great! We noticed that setting up the ball is easier, and more secure, with this one. The Velcro is strong and stays in place, so it's much easier to keep a rhythm going, versus having to adjust the straps around the ball because they get loose. The length of the cord is also good and made well; our other one wasn't as taut or as strong as this one, so my daughter definitely stays on her toes with this one! The adjustable, Velcro waistband is also a plus and stays securely in place. This kick trainer is a great way for any player to practice their touches, establish ball control, practice with their non-dominant foot, and they can do it on their own! And what's not to love about something non-electronic! My daughter loves taking this outside (she even takes it on vacation) and practicing and does it without any complaints—Can't beat that! Overall, the quality, usability are second to none and it's just a good, portable product for any soccer layer to have.

Quality trainer, Easy to use

My daughter absolutely LOVES this and uses it to practice both soccer and volleyball!
Highly recommend for anyone needing to practice independently…great tool to use when having to practice solo!

Highly recommend for independent practicing

Bought this for my 8 year old son, it did not have instructions so you have to YouTube how to use it, once you do it's pretty easy to setup and get going, not recommended for indoors. My son got bored with it, maybe need like an app to make it more fun.

Soccer trainer

My kid used it one and it broke. It was plastic hooks and durable. He is 6 years old

Not worth it

There were no instructions at all that came with this product. I need for adjusting the bungee/elastic cord. No QR code to see videos on use.

Umbro Soccer Kick Trainer helps players of all levels maximize touches; solo trainer that fastens to futsal or size 3–5 soccer balls and includes an adjustable waist strap to keep the ball within range, often used for close-control drills and individual juggling practice.
