I just ordered this game a couple of weeks ago. One of the best PS3 game's I have played. I really recommend this game for all you gamers out there who love adventure games and 3rd person shooters. Must get game!

If your into the whole Shooting, puzzle solving, creator killing kind of game this is the one. With non-stop action this game keeps you hanging on the edge of your gaming seat wanting more. When I finished the entire game I just wanted to start all over an play it again.

Awlsome Fun

This game is a great game!!!! But it's short and fun to play and actually looks good on the playstation 3. The only thing i wish was better about the game is that i wish it was longer. If you don't want a long game and that look's good and play's good then this game is for you.

Pretty awesome game!!!!

Quite possibly one of the best games I've ever played. Great graphics, great story, great game play, it had it all. This game is very good. It does get a little reative, with more gun fights than the game needs, but it doesn't take away any of the fun. The game's story does quite a good job of foreshadowing the game. Exploring is pretty fun, and the levels are beautifully created. Like someone before me said, it is almost like a movie. Almost a mixture of Indian Jones and Tomb Raider. The ending is pretty lame, but the rest of the game is great. Great game, just buy it.

I bought this for my teenage sons. They love it, I have to beat them to get a chance to play myself. ha.
Once you get started, you just can't start.
It is a great game for any person who played army as a kid or fell in love with Indiana Jones as a kid. The best of both.

Great stuff

Uncharted is perhaps the best game on PS3. The cover system is top-notch, easily on par with Gears of War, if not better. It does, however, take some getting used to. Especially if you've grown accustom to 3D action games since the PSone era and are used to just shooting and, at best, dodging. Standing in the open will make you die in Uncharted. Once, however, you get over the initial learning curve of about 30 minutes or so, you'll take right to the cover system. In fact, cover basically makes any shooting game not featuring it unplayable. It's one of those things which just makes sense, and you're glad for it.

The rest of the gameplay is also top notch, which mixes in a decent amount of platforming (I would have liked more) in with the non-stop action. In this regard, Uncharted is very similar to the Tomb Raider franchise, except with more emphasis on action than platforming. It also features a very intriguing story seemingly straight out of Indiana Jones (the first three, at any rate). The story never, however, becomes overbearing. In fact, you could easily skip it and enjoy the game fully, though I'd advise against that. The voice acting is amazingly great and it really is a good story.

Finally there are the visuals, which are astounding. The game easily competes with any CGI production in terms of visuals. Textures are all sharp, and the jungle surroundings look incredible. Best looking console game ever, easily.

There are, however, a few issues. Combat can sometimes feel a bit overbearing, as you often seem to face endless hordes of henchmen and pirates. It's to the point where the number defies all logic, given the circumstances of the story. You also will find that the game misleads you early on by being platform jumping heavy, only to focus on that aspect of the game very minimally afterwards. I hope that that will be addressed in the next iteration. Also, the game is rather short, taking about 9 hours to complete on the normal difficulty setting.

All-in-all, Uncharted is a fantastic game. Its few shortcomings are overwhelmed by its high production values, solid gameplay, and beautiful visuals. It's the type of game you won't regret playing, nor playing through again and again. I score it as 9/10 game.

Best game on PS3

This is a great game, fun to play easy to pick up, I just wish they could cool it a little with the foul language, parents be warned there are real curse words in this game. The game is violent too, I would would say it should almost carry a M rating.

Great game,could use less foul language

My husband has played this and there is too much talking. He really dislikes it. Wish we could get our money back. Will probably EBAY it.
