The grid cloth design allows for better DE caking and less resistance to water flow. This filter grid pairs with diatomaceous earth for efficient filtration of debris down to 2 to 5 microns. It fits 48-square-foot systems by Purex. The grid measures 25.38 x 10.75 inches (64.5 x 27.3 cm) and is made of woven polypropylene. One grid is included. Ease Of Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pool filter takes three of these Unicel filters. They are very thorough and catch all sorts of debris and grime that gets into the pool. They're really easy to insert and take out. And to clean, you just hose them off.

Fit perfect.  My old ones had enough hard water build up on them that the pressure was 20 PSI when clean.  The new filters are running at 7 PSI.  Much better flow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this replacement mesh filter because it media has a high fine denier fiber count so its filtration efficiency is very good.  It seems to be optimally absorbent, keeping the water in my tank cleaner and clearly seeing the water in the tank sparkle.  It operates longer cycles between backwashes for convenience.It fit perfectly and was no problem.

The filter is effective and easy to install

Installation seems like it should be straightforward. Should be able to see soon how well it works and how durable it is.
