These filter grids are very well made. My old grids had holes and made my pool a cloudy mess. These new grids cleaned it to crystal clear in a couple of days. It is kind of a pain to do, but it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend these grids!

The set fits perfectly to my 36 sq Ft Hayward DE filter. The old grids were too old and the water flow was weak even after a good hosing (after taking them out of filter of course).  With new grids water flow was much better and it really made the difference in our pool water clarity.  We measured the water pressure after installing new filter.  It was at about 12 PSI.  Give the filter a new charge of DE and and the pressure was at about the same 12 PSI.  We ran it over the weekend and pressure went up bit about 15-16 PSI and the water flow still feel very strong coming out of the returns.  

We should have gotten the new grids earlier in the pool season.  We will save the old grids after giving it an acid soak and keep them as spares!

Much easier to install than it looks. Took about 15 minutes, and saved a ton of money doing it myself.    Well worth it.  My pump never ran so well.

I'm giving this 5 stars just for the workmanship of the grids.  I purchased others from a different manufacturer and they were poorly made and didn't hold up.  I had Unicel before and liked them but wanted to save a few bucks on these last ones'.  Costly mistake.
