Kind of bland, I have had better, but bought this one in a pinch.

Not the best

Ugh. Terrible quality. Overly acidic and sharp, ruined the focaccia bread and quality olive oil. I did a comparison against two other brands and this one FAILS on every level, from smell to taste. If I could rate it less than one star, I would.

Don't Waste Your Money

It's possible to make a "good" imitation of traditional vinegar but this one is just terrible. It's watery, it doesn't have enough sugar from concentrated grape juice and it has trashy additives like caramel colour and sulfites. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this. It went straight down my drain. My complaints went straight to Unico for all the good that will do. Lesson learned, if they can sell you water for more than the price of concentrated juice then they will.

Instead mix a strong 8~% or so (to taste) food grade ascetic acid ("wine vinegar" might do fine) with highly concentrated grape juice  to make a fresh imitation traditional balsamic vinegar with at least 50% fruit sugar content by weight and syrupy texture at home to make your own imitation balsamic vinegar that will be much sweeter and fruitier than this. You can increase the concentration of concentrated juice by cooking to increase sugar content.
