Love this rug!

I have this rug in my main bedroom and it garners compliments. The design is very attractive and the feel of the rug is great. Of course, the items from rugs.com, all share the same shortcoming….it takes forever for them to lay flat.

Area rug.

This rug is beautiful and comes with great quality adding pop to my guest room. It was even a hit with my son who was amazed at the transformation of the room just with the matching rugs.

Pop & Quality

This rug is gorgeous!!! I love the pattern, it works with warm or cool colors. It has a HORRID chemical smell and concerning residue. My whole house smelled like plastic/tires. I put the rug in my son's room w door closed and windows open to air out. The smell was so strong we couldn't go in the room. After 3 weeks the smell was tolerable, but still very chemical when  up close. I bought this for my bedroom so I can get down on the floor and play with my 6mo old. After 4 weeks, it still smells and the plastic/glue "residue" is still very much present and concerning. At even the slightest touch this rug leaves a wierd film on hands. Almost greasy, almost silicone. Wierd?!?!? Whatever it is, it's not going in my room. This was a major disappointment as I lost use of my sons room, and still couldn't physically sit on the hard floor to have quality time in my room. 5-6minths of age is a major time of learning and bonding and because of this poison covered rug we lost 4 weeks of quality time. We don't have a lot of space so we mostly have to play in his room or my room. And when you factor in the cost of renting his room for 4 weeks while we were unable to use that space, the cost of having to keep a window open for 4 weeks in the winter.... it was a huge waste of time and money, plus worries over our health. This was a bad purchase for sure. Now a hassle to find plastic to wrap it in for return. Regret not returning it sooner, everyone says this smell goes away- I couldn't find much about the greasy film feeling. I was holding out hope it air out and be fine. This rug may work ok in certain areas, but not for a baby to crawl on. 
So sad, it is really one of the most beautiful rugs i have ever seen in person.
