Have been searching for a suitable solution for hanging my Mayan hammock for several years and finally found it Order shipped very promptly. Assembly of the stand was quick and easy despite the minimal instructions provided it helped that I had read some tips in earlier customer reviews and looked at pictures of the stand ahead of time. Within 15 mins. of the UPS delivery I had the stand set

Absolutely love this product. The only concern is that the powder coating seemed to not weather too well on some of the weld points. As I live on the "Wet Coast" it helps to have good weather protection. Will probably just give extra protection when I put it out next year.

Hammocks are healthy

The stand and hammock that I purchased are able to withstand the weight of both my husband and I. This allows us to snuggle together in the hammock without a problem I put the stand together without any difficulty and it is just as easy to disassemble and store.

I've had my hammock stand for almost 2 years now and I am still happy with it. My hammock just broke I did not get it from this site and so now I am going to buy a new hammock from this site so I can continue to use my hammock stand on my balcony. It is still standing strong and hasn't rusted from what I can tell. I'm happy with this product.

It is so very hard to try out my faded green Mayan Hammock with the stand still in the box unopened. 
Time will tell. 

It was suggested I set it all up in the house but I need my piano couch and TV left inside so no room for hammock set-up. I await some warmer days and a guy with tools to help me set up the stand outside near the pond

Great service from Hammock Universe and the Shipping Company My stand was delivered safely within 3 days and it took me fifteen minutes to peel off the tape and packing materials and set it up. I put the hooks in on the wrong side at first but soon figured out how to do it properly and raise my butt off the ground. Life is good and I have appreciated the follow up emails from HU - great customer service & support. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.

Easy Peasy

It was great to have free shipping to save time and it was shipped quickly - a bonus.
The hammock stand was quick and easy to set up. It's now a permanent indoor fixture. 
Would be a better product if the arms were a bit taller for a better hang. I would like to hang the hammock looser but then I would be touching the ground. However it fits my purposes and would recommend it.

I have a matrimonial size Mayan hammock and because it is very long too much of it has to be wrapped over the ends restricting the natural sway that hammocks should have. It does not allow the full width for two people. In addition the hooks are to small to fit the hammock hoops properly. I bought two of these stands which will not get the use we were hoping for.
