This gadget is wonderful. This is one solid piece. I had ordered a different kind before I purchased this one. And I paid too much for it. The first time using that one came apart. while squeezing the tea bag, the end came off. This tong is one solid piece. I use mine to only squeeze my tea bags. I definitely recommend this tong for whatever is needed for.
