[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the first couple of uses it was leaving ‘larger white' spots that would be visible when they dried but after I started using it from further away [from my face] i no longer got these spots. Overall this product is great and does exactly as it says - my make stays in place All Day Long %26 doesn't come off until i want it to. %26 the matte effect works wonders on my skin that tends to get oily as the day goes on - this setting spray prevents it!

This is the o my setting spray that actually lasts during hot weather or when sweating at the gym, it's been low in stock for ages and I can't live without it!!!! People saying that's it's horrible leaving white dots aren't using it right, you aren't spraying enough! You need to completely cover your face so spray it u til it's wet and then fry your face with a fan or if you're lazy like me use the hairdryer, honestly leaves none of the dots and your makeup lasts better than original! For a sweaty girly I cannot leave the house without this setting soray on, use it right so you see the hype!!!! It has been out of stock a lot recently and I swear if they discontinue this spray because y'all can't use it properly I will not cope lol,

So I got this in the travel size and I loved it. Didn't get any of the white spray that others are talking about. I purchased the big bottle and on second time using it, wow I was covered in white dots. So it's either the bottle and spray is defective, or shaking it before is a bad idea (which they tell you to do). I'm going to attempt to pour it into a different bottle and see if that makes any difference. I love the mattifying effect of the spray and would hate for it to be discontinued l

I normally have the normal all nighter spray, but when I saw this I thought my oily skin was finally going to be kept at bay!
And you know what, it does keep my make up on longer. However the first time I used it it left white splodges all over my face. So I looked it up and it appeared it had been happening to others too. So I did exactly what was suggested by Urban Decay; shake very well, clear the nozzle, etc, and nope still getting white apologies all over my face. So I'm not overly happy with this product. No one wants their make up to stay on with the proviso that they have to have white spots all over their face.

I love the original so was excited to try this.... There are issues with it I'm afraid. Firstly it doesn't mist like the original, it leaves white splashes on my face, hair, mirrors and it dries like glue and stays white! I have to blend this in with a brush after spraying it which disturbs my  finished makeup. I will use this up but will go back to the original I'm afraid....

Not as good as the original and has issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setting spray wasn't in a box and they 1st 3 times I used it, it left horrible looking white marks all over my face. It's like heavily concentrated and just a bad product in general. I have never have that problem with Urban Decays De-Slick Matte.

Horrible and send to me looking to be used

Bought this just a couple months ago and I used to use it all the time and loved it. However this time when I used it, it came out in WHITE SPOTS all over my face. I expected them to maybe dry down clear but they dried white and I had to scrub them off with my beauty blender. Ruined my makeup and my clothes. I shook it before use too etc, nothing helped. It's just coming out white.

I am a massive urban decay fan and was so excited at the new ultra matte all-nighter spray, but I am writing to warn people that you pretty much need to be naked to apply it! As it settles it dries as little speckles all over your clothes, watch, jewellery etc. Urban decay please look into this!!
Also I honestly haven't seen a difference between this and the old one, I'll probably stick to the old one unless they can change the way this dries.

Something needs to change

After using de slick and all nighter setting sprays for years, I thought I would try the ultra matte as I haven't been able to find the de slick for purchase recently. However I used it for the first time today and it left white spots of a gluey substance all over my face and hair that wouldn't come off. I had to actually scrub it all off by washing my hair and face again. It was like I had been splattered with paint. Do not buy this product. I loved the original and would say stick with that but it has honestly put me off and I am now researching other brands. Very frustrating as it isn't cheap.

This spray is awful it leaves white spots everywhere because the contents of it has a strange milky colour. The all nighters setting spray and deslick ones both work really well and don't have this issue.Urban Decay have missed the mark here!!
