[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always choose urban decay! With my oily eyelids, this primer always does the trick- no movement of the eyeshadow after a 12-18 hour long work day, in a dry environment.

I have the primer potion in Eden to try out and I never thought it would be as good as it was! I put my make up on in the morning and by time it was about 11 at night it was still on perfectly with no crease or anything. I had also been out and about so you would have thought it would create a little! But nope, absolutely amazing I will definitely be repurchasing again and again! I'm so glad I found this product as my eyeshadow usually always creases but not any more!!!!!

My sister has this primer potion and i decided to use it before I went to a party. Usually, no matter what I use, my eyeshadow has basically come off two hours after I've put it on due to my excessively oily eyelids. However, I went to this party, got hammered, slept in my makeup (would not recommend at all) and woke up at 5am, went to the bathroom to take off the makeup and my eyeshadow was still in place, looking almost exactly the same as it had the night before. The shimmer had come off very slightly but that's only to be expected after getting drunk and sleeping in the makeup. I am so impressed and will definitely be buying for myself!

Insane quality

The new wand brings far, far too much primer out of the tube and I end up with about 10 times too much on my eyelids if I try to use it. To make things worse, whereas the old formula was a perfect consistency for distributing with either brush or fingertip, the new version is too thin and runny, making it very difficult to spread evenly. Altogether much harder to control and not as good.

Please bring back the version without wand!

Disappointed that a pretty much perfect product has been 'reworked'. Every change is unnecessary and for the worse!
Primer Potion used to be in a hard bottle with a wand applicator, it changed a few years ago to the squeezy tube which was much better, it cost £1 more but you got 11ml instead of 10ml, all good. Not sure why they've now reverted to the wand applicator, you can't apply precisely with this, finger application is the only way to go, and the size is back to 10ml but still the same price. The 'jewel' lid is just tacky and, in my opinion, devalues the brand as it looks like it's aimed at kids.
I can get past all the packaging faults but what I can't forgive is changing the formula of Sin to create Minor Sin! The beauty of Sin was its coverage and the fact you could easily wear it alone with mascara on low key days. Minor Sin has a much thinner consistency, is too sheer to wear alone and needs eyeshadow over it at all times. Such a shame as this was a staple for me for years.
Apparently the change is based on customer feedback but I've yet to see one reviewer who thinks it's a good thing. Why not bring out Minor Sin as another option but leave Sin alone for us devotees?
Please, please listen to your customers and bring back good old Sin ASAP!

Bring back Sin!!

The old product didn't have an applicator and instead squeezed out the tube. It was a very different consistency, it was thicker. This product would have got 5 stars from me. It was fantastic, I have very greasy eyelids by the end of the day and this was the only primer to ever work for me, keeping my eyeshadow perfect all day.

The new product however, is much thinner, much less effective, less in the bottle and the same price! It does not work as well at all, my eyeshadow creases and comes off. I am genuinely sad urband decay ruined this product. The only reason it got two stars was for how good the old one was. Not worth the money, works just as well as cheaper brands now!

Old product perfect, current one bad.

I had hoped this primer would help keep my eyeshadow in place throughput the day so that I did not have worry about reapplying it for online meetings. If anything I ended up with a worse appearance as either the primer itself or the shadow would make my eyes water and then smudge my mascara below my eyes. I tried several times to see if there would be any improvement but have now given up using it altogether

Sadly not what I had hoped for

I have been using Sin eyeshadow primer for years and LOVE it. It has been the main staple of my make up bag. So imagine my disappointment when I tried the new Minor Sin primer and found it to be thin and lacking in colour. Urban Decay make the most wonderful make-up and with two teenage girls in the house I seem to spend a lot of time on the website but this new primer is not a product I would buy again. Please please please bring back the original Sin primer it was the perfect product and I am lost without it!

Minor sin primer

I am so glad that I am not the only one who has been affected by the change in formula. The old formular was by far the best. I have oily lids and with the old formula my eyeshadow never creased and i fell in love with this primer. However, when I purchased the new formular, I noticed the consistency is alot thinner and my eye shadows creased after an hour or so. I was so gutted because I genuinely loved the old product. Definately not worth the money its retailed at.
