I had a heck of a trying to get the battery cover off. The screw was basically fused inside. There are no threads actually inside the plastic so you're just turning it forever with no results. I was finally able to get it out with tweezers. Once removed the cover wouldn't come off either. I tried plyers and the tweezers, then my small screw driver and was eventually able to pry it open. What a disaster. Its cute but it wasn't pleasant just trying to batteries in.
