This is a sturdy, good quality chair. The seat and back are bigger than I thought they would be but the size is just right. The sherpa fabric is stylish and will fit perfectly in my daughters dorm. Only took a few min to put together and was not hard to do.  The only tool needed for assembly is an Allen wrench, which is included with the screws and washers provided with the chair!

Nice alternative to the Pottery Barn chairs. Both of my daughters loved the chairs. A little of the fur came off on one of the chairs I don't know why but we hot glued it back on and you cant tell. (It was a really small area dime sized)

Comfy and Cute

This chair is very sturdy.  I like the fact that it has a metal base rather than plastic.  I think that the seat is somewhat wider (about 20" across) than it appears in the picture.  I ordered both the Mongolian and the Sherpa to see which one I liked better.  I chose to keep the Sherpa which was much whiter and very soft.  Assembly was fairly simple.  It only took me about 20 minutes.  You have to switch the order and do step 3 before step 2 because the seat adjustment mechanism (E) will block two of the screw holes on the back of the seat (B).  Then you have to push seat back (A) and seat (B) together very firmly to get the screws holes to line up.  I did this myself but it would have been easier with someone helping.  Once put together, the seat can easily be moved up and down although the seat back is very straight and does not adjust.  My only big complaint with the chair is that the stitching on the seat back is very poorly done and looks sloppy.

Cute Sturdy Chair

Very nice to look at, and the sherpa is soft to touch.  I wanted it because I'm always cold, and it fits that need as well. Had a couple issues:  1.  The box was crushed on one side, and had Walmart's tape sealed over the crushed part, leading me to believe they were aware of the damage before it was shipped.  The back of the chair had a small indent from the crushed part of the box, but it wasn't very noticeable, so I kept it.  2.  The directions are wrong.  You must put the back and seat of the chair together BEFORE you add the part to raise/lower the seat, since the screws for the back are under the seat adjustment plate.  As for putting it together, it was easy, although it took some maneuvering to get the back and seat together, because the sherpa is pretty thick.  Took 15 minutes tops.  3.  The seat is pretty firm, and angles forward and down, and the tilt cannot be adjusted, so I feel like I'm sliding off the chair when sitting normally.  For this reason I'm returning the chair.

Super cute chair!

I bought this chair in Sherpa as a sewing/desk chair for myself because the one we got our daughter at Christmas was made so well. Hers was the white Mongolian. Her chair was solid and made with good quality foam. I was shocked at how nice it was for the money. However, the Sherpa one I received is made with extremely cheap foam (it feels terrible) and it is poorly constructed. On the plus side, the fabric is really soft, it's easy to assemble, it has a wide seat width and the base is all metal. However, where the Mongolian one sits flat and is quite comfortable, the Sherpa one sits at a weird angle. I kept it purely because it was inexpensive and matched my room, but I am sure I will be replacing it within the year.

All color choices not made the same

I bought this item for my teenage daughter for e-learning. I loved the Sherpa fabric and thought it would be soft and comfortable. Unfortunately the Sherpa shreds and I keep finding pieces of it on her carpet. After only 4 months of use it shred so badly you can see the foam padding underneath.

Doesn't hold up

If you are looking for a disposable chair, look no further!  The back of the chair is a piece of particle board covered with the cheapest thinnest fabric known to man.  The fabric is glued/stapled on to the back so poorly that there are gaping holes you can put your hands in!  Its like a chair wirh pockets, bonus!  The back is also so stoff and upright, its nor comfortable for sitting in for any period of time.  I am giving it one star because it was actually easy to put togethee and will be very easy to wheel to the dumpster next week when it falls apart.  Save yourself the disappointment and dont buy this chair, unless you are buying for your enemy.

Piece of junk

I ordered this chair online as a gift for my daughter. It must have been a return before I got it since it was missing all the screws, the wheels and the pole to put the seat above the base. What a disappointment. She opens her gift and the 3 main parts (the back, the seat and the base) are there but there is absolutely no way we can even partially put it together.  Walmart has to do better quality control when doing returns to make sure the customer has actually brought all the parts back. And double check before mailing a package that all the parts are in there.

Poor QC

not faux fur, sherpa and low quality.  The back of the seat is drilled improperly making the back angled forward.  This is not an everyday chair even if drilled properly. The only tasks completed in this chair will need to be quick and below table height. save your money.
