Setup process is simple with clear instructions.

If your on the fence about buying it, don't be. Back saver!!! I bought a 24 ft cargo trailer for a mobile work shop. Very heavy in the front. I had to take a break, sometimes two breaks while disconnecting it. This electric trailer jack was worth every penny and then some. Easy install, lifts my big heavy trailer with ease and a back saver.

The motor for the jack was locked, requiring the jack handle to be inserted into the top.  Once installed on the trailer tongue, the handle operated the jack manually.   My tow vehicle failed to provide the necessary Battery Positive required to operate the jack.    A separate 12VDC source allowed the jack to function as designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Uriah electric 12v 7 way, connector 5000lb lift capacity trailer jack to try and review. I found that this small, compact and lightweight trailer jack is very powerful! At first I thought because of how small and lightweight it was that it wouldn't hold up to the job, but boy was I wrong!! It very quickly and very efficiently jacked up my 4,600 lb trailer extremely quick and with ease!! I am so glad to have this!! And the best part is, that you can plug it into your car and don't have to worry about finding an electrical outlet!! After removing original electric jack, I connected the new Uriah jack the same way to camper battery,  and the jack works fine. But the light does not work at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product for its price had to hook it up straight to the trailer battery the 7 way conector didn't work for my vehicle. It worked on one truck but it did not on truck that is towing the trailer. It works perfect with power straight from the battery.

Great product so far for the price.
