Beautiful smooth wood.  This table is a conversation piece. Adds depth and personality to your room while giving you an eye catching piece to hold your cocktails or coffee. We purchased two tables for our office lounge and couldn't be happier with the quality and style it added to the room

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a split review. Beautiful design and natural wood that is true, but not well finished on the inside. It's gouged pretty heavily on the inside and some unfinished wood is showing through. It is not smooth at all. It's about 30 pounds and we're in our 70's, so repacking and lugging a return of this weight to a shipper was not an option. We kept it and put a basket on the inside to hide the gouges as the outside was fine. Color received pretty well matched the pictures on the website.

Unfortunately, the table received is much darker than the online picture.  The table received is a dark brown versus the walnut color as pictured on the website.
