Great amplification for hearing range commands or instructors. If you are hearing impaired it will actually amplify greater than normal hearing levels. It automatically drops out when a shot is fired to protect hearing. Slim profile at the bottom of the ear cups improves cheek weld issues that larger earmuffs have. Easy to replace batteries and adjust on/off/volume.

Best bang for the buck

I purchased these for 3 gun shooting where I wanted to make sure I could hear all the commands. They are a nice fit (I have a larger head) and have a slim profile. They did not get in the way with cheek weld when shooting my AR or my pump shotgun. Even in the heat of the day they were comfortable to wear. I still use double ear (Had foam plugs in as well) and I was still able to clearly hear the commands. I also use these around the yard without any problem. haven't tried the plug in feature where you could plug in a music player.

Excellent Earmuff - Great Value

I wanted more protection when shooting indoors. I use ear plugs plus the ear muffs. The electronic earmuffs allow me to hear someone speak with the protection on.

Work nice, low profile so rifle and shotgun are not a problem. Last pair lasted 3 years and are used daily.

You will get interference around wifi. Had some sound quality issues after 4 weeks but swapping out the batteries it came with for higher quality ones fixed it.

Best quality for the price

I can't say that I can complain considering the price of these muffs. While they aren't absolutely perfect, they do the job quite adequately. I considered $200+ muffs, but I can't see them doing that much more. They are comfortable for a couple of hours once I learned how to adjust them.

Great electronic muffs for the budget

Blocks out all shotgun blast, had a bit of trouble with hitting the stock until I tilted them way back. They are a bit hot, but nothing you can't live with. Nice feature is the ability to fold them completely up and stick in the shell pouch when finished shooting for the day.

Works well

Fits snug around ears. Vol control works good. Nice that I can plug iPhone into them with good sound.
On negative side, As I was pulling earmuffs to extend them one inside cover came loose. Luckily friend has a set like mine and knew how to pop back in place.

So far so good

Tried the active ear plugs at the indoor range. They are good for .22 long rifle, but if someone at the range shoots 9mm pistols or bigger there is still way too much  noise.

Still a lot of noise.
