I am over 60 and have damaged hair from years of coloring. I use VO5 oil after conditioning and leave on in shower for a few minutes and it makes all the difference to my hair! It leaves my hair soft and manageable and tames frizz.

Y'all, I fried my hair with a home perm a month after getting highlights!  I was too ashamed to let my hair stylist see my hair (it looked like cotton candy when it was wet).  I used four tubes of this hot oil treatment in the six weeks after them perm.  I also used a hydrating shampoo and a conditioning hair mask.  After three months, we did trim my hair but not nearly as much as I thought it would need!  I have used this product for years when I have done something to my hair that I shouldn't have...Glad they still make it!

It might help save your bad hair experiment!

I used to use this way back and had a hard time finding it again. This  product is great for color treated  dryer hair. You do wash it out which is what I like about it. I use this the night before  rather than immediately before going out. Highly recommend!

I've been using this product it's a VO5 Hot oil treatment product since it was on the market since I was a very small girl.  summer swimming being out in the sun letting your hair grow too long every once in awhile creates frizzy areas.  and this product helps calm them down somewhat by reintroducing oil to the hair shaft.

great product I use it long-term

I love using VO5 hot oil treatment, it makes my hair feel great! I just wish I could still pick it up at the store instead of having to order it online!

I have used  VO5 hot oil treatment for over 30 yrs. It really helps my scalp and conditions my hair the best . It leaves my hair healthy and shiny. I highly recommend V05 hot oil treatment.

The Best Treatment

I have been using this product for way more years than I'd like to admit!! I have very wavy and sometimes curly hair and this keeps rhe frizz away!! I use this twice a week and it helps during the summer humidity and the dry cold winter months to keep the frizz away.

Great, time tested product

Maybe my hair has changed, but this VO5 oil used to make my hair shiny and tangle free
Now, at 74, just didn't do much.  The little tube maybe needs more oil in it as well??  Still used it since I bought, but didn't see any difference and will probably stick to drugstore conditioner in bottle or jar.  For reference my hair is:    Light brown, thick, a bit below my chin bob haircut, and slightly wavy %26 dry.

Didn't work for me

I would love to rate this actual product. I have used the actual product and really liked the results. HOWEVER, I have tried ordering this product (that is the product you see pictured) four times now and EACH time I received a VO5  product different from the one pictured.

Did not receive what I ordered

It's a waste of money. Does not work and even for short hair there is not enough product in 1 treatment. You have to use the whole box at once and still does nothing to your hair.
