Have always used Valvoline Full Synthetic in my TDI Jetta since new. I perform all of the oil changes, and even with over 380,000 miles, it still only drops about one pint of oil between 10,000 mile oil change intervals. I've always been a Valvoline fan.

Valvoline

I switched from a Valvoline 5w30 synthetic to the 5w40 and noticed a 3-4 psi increase in oil pressure. With the 5w30 when I got near 200F oil temp my oil pressure would drop to under 14psi at idle. With the added bump in pressure I never fall below 15psi. I do frequent oil changes because I drive my cars to their limit and I don't see any signs of premature breakdown in my oil. Other oil brands I have used in the past wouldn't make it 500 miles before showing signs of wear. In conclusion Valvoline oil formulas are above the rest and continues to be the only oil I buy.

This continues to be the only oil I trust.

It was a good deal for what I consider a trusted brand. As long as Valvoline remains competitive, I will continue to use it. Plus, I got a special deal for a promotion to try this motor trend channel so I thought that was pretty cool.

Great motor oil!

I have been using Valvoline oil for 50 years. I have never had a engine lubrication issue ever! When I purchased my Dodge Scatpack, I started using the European synthetic 0W40 oil even though Pennzoil is called for by the manufacturer. I tell all my car buddies that Valvoline is used by people who want the best for their engines! Brad in New Mexico.

Best oil out there!

Valvoline is the only oil I use. I put it in all my engines cars mowers quads etc.

I have been using Valvoline motor oil for over 40 years. Never had a problem. Today's oils must meet API rateings so I am confident it is good.

I have used Valvoline in all my cars for over 40 years.....and have NEVER had any of them burn oil. I'm so glad that they make a 0W-20 European synthetic motor oil certified for use in my VW GTI. It's great product at a great price!

Bommarito VW, MO uses this Valvoline Euro 0W20 for My Tiguan. No oil related issues or oil consumption at 7500 mile intervals.
Manual suggested 10000 mile intervals but
Drive short trips.

When there was only one synpower I began using 5w 40 (VAL966) in my 2010 Diesel Sprinter.  I just made my 10th oil change at 100K miles.  I go the full 10,000 miles and never use any oil.  The new number is VV966 but I'm guessing it is just as good.
