Vankyo leisure 3 projector

Wow, so I've been looking for a small portable, light projector that can ping from my cell phone. I just received it today, and I'm really ecstatic. It comes in a really nice zipped bag, and I took a picture of my hand next to it for size comparison. I love that it's so small compared to my old projector which is really heavy and bulky and does not connect to Wi-Fi. I bought a projector screen with this for christmas, and with Covid, I'm looking forward to many nights cozy with family in our living room viewing the projector pictures and all.

Very small compact size in a nice carrier bag

When I purchased this projector with the intentions of using it for “drive in” movie style presentations on my drive way, I was hoping for a decent projector for the purpose but did not have very high expectations. Well right out of the box, I was very impressed with how easy it was to connect the unit to wifi and start streaming YouTube videos within about 3 minutes after plugging in. The picture quality is great, the focus adjustments were easy, and the sound integration was quick and simple. My toddler loves this projector, and we can't wait for warmer weather so we can start some “drive-in” movies at the house. Added plus is the handy carrying case and compact size.

Great Bang for the Buck With This Projector!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product arrived on time and with no damage or problems. It was super easy and quick to set up and display images from my laptop WiFi.  I'm using the projector to enlarge and trace photos.  That seems to be working well.  The images are not crystal clear, but good enough to trace fine details.  (That was in a room that wasn't completely dark.) I haven't had a chance to use the movie projection yet.  So I also do not know how the sound works.  So far, I'm happy with the product. I gave 4 stars because the images are not crystal clear at all 4 foot distance.

Set-up was easy for my HDMI connection.  Played it off my computer.  The room really needs to be completely dark to get the best picture.  Even a little ambient light diminishes the experience.  At the recommended ideal distance from the screen (9.5 ft), I got a picture that was 8 feet in size.  I could see the pixels which was sometimes distracting. The fan was quite audible but not a problem.  It was fun to watch such a large screen but the picture lacked the resolution and brightness for it to be used other than occasionally for fun.

Fun device.

Portable unit bringing some video versatility and excitement. Good for many tasks and kid entertainment without having all on tv. Picture is quite bright and detailed and generally surpassed my expectation. Sound is boxy but one should be able to hook it to a proper stereo. Connection to Android was not labeled properly and it's done through the unit's mirroring app. took me some time to realize As there are bunch of identically looking units with lesser resolution be careful to pick the most bright and high native resolution you can find. At time of purchase I've got the 3600lux 800 pixel model, narrowly avoided 400 pixel one. I believe there are now places you can get a 1200 pix and higher models. Very happy with the purchase.

Great price-ability-performance

I wouldn't criticize much on this product in such price range. Just to share my experience, the fan of projector makes too much noise and it doesn't work well with horizontal angle (which means you need to place it straight in front of your screen) overall, it is still worth for the price with discount.

Not bad

Good video quality. Sound is pretty awful. Plugging in speakers doesn't work great either as it puts a cap on audio output. Speakers are max volume and not even close to as loud as they should be
