We bought these two months ago to replace our 20 year old Velux Skylights.  The new ones have the Solar blinds with the wall mounted remote control that is synced to both of them. The new ones are even quieter than the old ones when it is raining hard outside. Very nice upgrade.

Love our skylights, cheerful daylight clouds, admiring the moon at night. No leaks during heavy rain and winter snow. May install solar blinds to reduce sun streaming in room. Undecided but still have that option.

Peace of mind is priceless

Old Skylight was leaking and ruining my Ceiling. Ken came out and gave me a very fair estimate and some options, such as solar blinds if I wanted it. I agreed for him to do the job on a Friday. He ordered my New Skylight which was to arrive in about 3 business days. Mean while we were expecting ThunderStorms on Saturday Night. Ken came out that afternoon and Put Plastic over my Skylight. That night we had 60 MPH winds and rain blowing sideways with marble size hail. Thanks to what he did, I had no new leakage that night, which I believe would have totally ruined my Ceiling as severe as the Storm was. He did not charge me to do that. Then on Wednesday he put in the New Skylight in about 1/2 a day. His workmanship was OutStanding. I highly recommend The Skylight Guys!

Good Options

It is amazing the difference light can add to a room. It wish i would have done it sooner. The installers made it look like it was always there , they were great, left the area clean and were very considerate about not making a mess. i absolutely would recommend them.

I see the light!

I bought these to replace our original 20 year old skylights. In the past it got so hot we'd avoid our living room in the summertime as it stayed so warm it was uncomfortable. With the new ones, they let in a bit more light but even so the room is much cooler and comfortable. I was skeptical when the sales guy said this would be the case,  but I'm a believer now!

Major improvement over old skylights

Installed 2 replacement skylights within 5 hours. Very well done and looks great. Glad to get rid of the wood frames and the old type glass. These are much cleaner looking and adds a great deal of light to the room.

Replacement of 20 year old Velux

We installed two skylights in a small home with limited windows and a long entrance corridor. The skylights in the great room really open it up and with the shades keep the heat in the winter and heat out in the summer as needed.

wonderful in maying a room bright

I purchased 3 fixed skylights to replace the Anderson product installed 20 years ago. What a difference. When removed, it was found 2 had been leaking. With that, the Velux “water tight” guarantee definitely was a welcomed benefit. Happy Velux owner.

I replaced my two old skylights after 20 years. What a difference in light with the new VELUX skylights we have now, as soon as  you enter the rooms. It is specially amazing the clarity during the nights when you can see the sky.  The added guaranteed for hail damage is a great peace of mind, as we do experience them in this area.
