Ingenious product!!!  Love it!!!  Great for car camping.  Heated my SUV up to 64 degrees in 24 temp weather which was suitable for me..   Highly recommend.  Note: It says the fuel burns clean without toxic chemicals or smoke and is safe indoors.   I used  a carbon monoxide detector for added safety.

I overall like this product because it can be used in many situations. i feel confident in this product if and when i need to use it to keep myself and family members warm during power outages or at the lake camping and fishing.

Definitely a must!!!

I got it pretty quick and in tact. I haven't used it yet but it seems to be a pretty solid little unit. It's probably worth the money to use it whenever but if you need it it is more than worth the money.

Not disappointed

This is perfect to heat a small room and to avoid using propane. We were so happy with the unit that we bought two more. It will not heat a larger room, but we'll keep a small area reasonably comfortable.

This thing worked perfectly in my SUV, 30 degrees outside but toasty inside.  Almost too toasty.  I'm going to try 2 in it tonight instead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a good product. as long as you are careful. even though it is safe to use indoors, it still needs CANNED CHAFFING HEAT to cook or use as a heater. once it heats up the thermal fan, it will begin to blow the warm heat. good for smaller areas. things to note: to use the steel grid top after lifting off the heater, pots or pans that have a thin bottom layer are the best to cook with. it heats the pans quicker. camping pans will work well. buy only stainless steel. there is a small tea kettle that will work great. during the outages, i find that i am cold inside my body even though i am well covered on the outside. our wood stove is slanted on top so we cannot cook or heat anything on it. the thermal fan for the heater top is the same as the thermal fan for the wood heaters. when purchasing canned heat, buy the 6-hour type. this vesta instafire stove-heater comes with a small snuffer stored under the unit so you can put out the flame as you need. don't place this unit on carpeting. it should be on a fireproof surface, like cement, metal or glass surface etc.   samsclub gas the best deal on canned heat, 12 cans in a case for $20.00. stock up. buy some disposable hot-cold cups. make hot cocoa, tea, coffee, soups, pasta sides, rice sides and so much more. then toss the disposable cups in the trash. you can make a liquid form dough with flour, salt, water and any seasonings are optional. put fry pan over the canned heat flame and grill and fry your dough, lots of details on youtube videos to show you the way.

SAFETY FIRST ITEM. 
Will probably smell like most chafing fuel does, and still requires safety ventilation when used indoors. Could be easier to assemble securely, that took a while, and though correctly done, could easily come undone; metal edges could be less sharp. Comes with on-board tool to open the fuel canister slide tray, which is great idea because all of the stove's surfaces get hot. 
When in use-it must  be kept far from: flammable or combustible materials, vapors, liquids, grease/oil,  surfaces, furnishings, curtains, kids toys, paper, plastic. And used only on a level, stable, fire retardant surface, well out of the reach of children. The  large screw-on caps on the Canned Heat fuel canisters, make it easier to snuff out the flame, and they offer more secure storage of partial cans. No cooking review yet, but pretty sure it can handle coffee and eggs:) Hope this helps, happy shopping! (*Flame rating=one star because visible flame is not feature to expect with this item)
