Quite impressed with this 15 litre ultrasonic cleaner. I am using it for cleaning of old car parts prior to zinc plating. I have only tried it with a water based degreaser called “Oil Eater”. I am going to try it with a heavy duty alkaline cleaner next. After cleaning is finished you can lift the basket and turn it 90 degrees and it will rest above the liquid to drip dry. Overall it seems to work really good and for a reasonable price. It is a little noisy but I have it in an outdoor shop so it's fine.

Great product at a reasonable price.  Heats quickly and is easy to drain with the well placed spigot.  Would buy again but do not expect too for a long time.

This ultrasonic cleaner works very well. I specifically purchased one this large to clean carburetors, and so far it has done a great job.
I would recommend this ultrasonic cleaner to anyone who is looking for this type of unit for their shop.

Very powerful and efficient, great capacity. The build is a little flimsy, but it doesn't affect usage. I'd say one negative aspect is the noise, it's quite agressive, but otherwise it's a work horse.

Safety Technician

I've used the 15L ultrasonic cleaner a few times now using just distilled water and a few drops of dishwasher liquid.  The metal items I've cleaned come out shiny.  The documentation is very poor as it tells you to fill the container up to the max line but there is no MAX line. There is no guidance on temperature or duration settings, nor what liquids can be used.  The on/off switch is on the back and hard to reach. The heater does not turn off automatically when the timer reaches zero.  The drain hose supplied doesn't fit on the drain spout (unless heated to expand over the spout.). I'm glad I bought this size because anything smaller would have restricted it's use dramatically.  I use it to clean pinball parts, but in initial testing used it to clean a rusty stainless steel dog dish, a vintage wooden handle screwdriver covered in paint, and a very stained (inside) coffee travel mug.  All came out clean after 20minutes. I will have to play with duration, temperature and liquid mixtures to garner better results.  My next test will be with a rusty item in a sealed sandwich bag with Evaporust and placed into the distilled water.
